We go through a lot of these five inch blades in our construction business and this blade holds up as well as any blade costing more and with a name brand attached to it. Will use it routinely to cut framing, lumber and even during some demolition and it holds up really well. I would highly recommend if you're looking to save money without compromising quality.

But, it does not have breakaway arbor diamond. So, you depend on the torque of the arbor but to hold the blade. I had no trouble ripping and cross cutting 5/4 cedar. But would not try on harder wood for safety purposes. Thin kerf and little tear out. Not a bad blade for a job site. Good Valerie for the money but could use some improvement.

This is a very economical 40 tooth finish saw blade that comes with bushings that fit almost all saws. The saw comes with a 20MM arbor and has bushings that fit 5/8", 1/2" and 3/8" arbors. I replaced my Dewalt 18v cordless circular saw that takes a 5/8" arbor and it worked fine, the blade is 5 3/8 " dia. a little smaller than the standard 6 1/2" dia. blade but has no problem cutting only the amount of depth you can cut. The blade produces a very fine edge compared to my older 24 tooth blade it replaced, at 10 dollars it is a very good value.
