E12 C7 Candelabra Light Bulbs

I purchased these bulbs for a decorative table lamp we have in our home. Previously we used small, 0.6-watt light bulbs (nightlights) but I was looking for something brighter.These bulbs are about the same size as the ones they replace. They provide 2 watts of power - so more than twice the wattage of what they replace.The new bulbs feature a clear envelope which also makes them seem brighter and more of a barrel shape compared to the old bulbs which were oval shaped with a rounded pointed at the top like an old fashion Christmas bulb. Both take up about the same space. The fit in the E12 socket was identical.In my opinion, the shape and look of these bulbs would be better with a frosted or opaque shade material that somewhat hides the bulb inside. With many lamp styles, electric bulbs were supposed to mimic the look of candles. The pointed top and tall oval shape seemed appropriate. The old incandescent bulbs even featured very fine wire filaments which were delicate and almost decorative inside the bulb. To me, the shape of these bulbs is more industrial looking. A pointed shape may have worked. This is just my opinion.But they generate an even, bright light inside the green shade on our lamp. And even with the increase in wattage and light they really don't put off significant heat. It is warm to the touch after extended use.However, the brighter lights can cause Hot spots on the lamp - small areas that are too bright/over exposed. Our lamp is supposed to provide subtle, low intensity lighting. Kind of a mood setter. I think these bulbs are right on that over bright fringe. I might trade these bulbs for a frosted envelope design to even out the light distribution.Overall, these bulbs meet the descriptions and images shown on the website. They thread into an E12 electrical socket just as expected. They put off a bright, even light and generate a low level of heat - which means they are electrically efficient. They should cost less to run and last longer. Other than being a little brighter than I expected, I have no complaints. I would recommend these bulbs.

I picked up this 4-pack of Elmoyle E12 T20 LED Replacement Bulbs, and they have a genuinely nice 2700K warm color temperature. Because my wife collects Himalayan salt lamps from local thrift shops, we constantly find ourselves needing to replace burned-out or missing bulbs to get them working again.These 2-watt LEDs are a fantastic, energy-efficient upgrade over the old 15-watt incandescent ones. They perfectly highlight the natural pink and orange tones of the salt crystals without running too hot or pulling unnecessary power. Our oldest daughter gave us a Himalayan Salt Lamp years ago, and it uses the E12 Candelabra bulb type. It still had the old incandescent bulb in it, and it was starting to fade, so I ordered these LED replacement bulbs, since they use 90% less power and basically last forever.I've installed the new LED bulb, and it works great and the light output is perfect for the salt lamp. Since each bulb is supposed to last for 25,000 hours, with 4 in the pack, I basically purchased 100,000 hours of light, which is over 11 years of continuous use, so needless to say, I think I'm good for bulbs.

I needed something cooler and longer lasting than an incandescent for an illuminated globe, and these delivered. They also slipped into a couple of night lights around the house without any issues.I have a globe of the earth that lights from the interior, and the old incandescent bulb that came with it bothered me on two counts. It ran warm enough that I didn't like leaving it on for long, and I knew it was living on borrowed time. I wanted an LED replacement that would throw the same warm glow without the heat or the short lifespan. These did the job perfectly.The E12 candelabra base screwed right in without any adapting or trouble. The warm white light at 2700K is close enough to the old incandescent that the globe looks the same, just cooler to the touch and considerably easier on my conscience about leaving it on. I had bulbs left over after the globe, so I tried them in a couple of night lights around the house. They settled in just as easily and have been running fine since.One thing worth noting for anyone who needs dimming capability: the listing mentions both that these are non-dimmable and that they support full linear dimming. Those two claims can't both be true, and I wasn't able to test it since none of my lamps have dimmer switches. If dimming matters to you, I'd confirm that with the seller before ordering. (The lights actually have the word DIMMABLE printed on the glass.)The size is compact enough to fit into tight fixtures, which was exactly what I wants. The light output is modest but appropriate for the job. These aren't room lighting, they're accent and night light bulbs, and for that they work well.Value Rating: Delivers. I picked these up for a small DIY lighting project and have been very happy with them. They use an E12 candelabra base and are a compact size, measuring 20 mm in diameter, 53 mm overall length, with a 36 mm glass globe, making them a great fit for small fixtures where space is limited.The warm 2700K color produces a soft, cozy glow that’s much more pleasant than harsh white LEDs. I measured each bulb at about 1.83 watts, which is very close to the advertised 2W while still providing plenty of light for night lights, salt lamps, and accent lighting.I’ve also found them to be excellent for custom DIY lighting projects. Their small size, low power consumption, and warm color make them easy to incorporate into enclosures and decorative builds without generating much heat.These are well-made little bulbs that perform exactly as expected. If you need compact E12 LED bulbs for a Himalayan salt lamp, night light, or DIY project, these are an excellent choice.
