250W Power Inverter Compatible with 18V Battery

This is a very nifty little tool. I realize during all of my power outages that I have too many batteries, but not enough things to use them with. This brings a lot of functionality to one of the batteries sitting on the side during Power outages. I’ve used it to charge my laptop and charge my phone. A single battery let me work all day. The ports are well labeled and feel solid. The light on top is a bonus. Its plenty bright enough to light up a room, and it articulates up and down. Overall I’m satisfied and I hope it lasts a long time.

Not too shabby, I'm glad I have an extra one now. Everyone should have a couple batteries and one of these for emergencies. Charge most devices a few times on one battery, plus it has a LED flashlight.Fits usb, USB c, and a standard outlet. Should power an LED lamp for hours, and honestly will power almost any household device for at least 15 mins depending on the draw, amps, etc.This one is a little lighter and cheaper than my other one, but came with much better instructions and packaged better (not necessarily needed). Would make a good gift for someone who has everything, college kids, home owners, you name it. Dad's will love it.

I was pretty excited about this inverter since I have a lot of DeWalt batteries and tools. Having a little mobile AC would be a nice addition to my tool bags. Unfortunately, this isn't really the right tool for running much more than a light or light weight fan. I'm just not sure where I'll be able to use it. It produces a modified sine wave rather than a pure sine wave so some induction motors won't start. For example, this 250W inverter doesn't power my 30" tall 15W tower fan at all. It does support my laptop computer, though, but only added a little more than an hour on a 1/2-charged battery. I ran my 9" desktop fan for just over 2 hours using a freshly charged 4 Ah battery. I can't imagine how short of service I would get using it to power my Starlink Mini.The goods: It works.The bads: It struggles with some appliances that beg for pure sine wave input. A battery doesn't last very long on even a low wattage device, so it would last even less with a serious current draw. It gets quite warm (read: pretty hot) just running the desk fan.There's a place for this inverter, I just haven't found it yet. There are options available that use dual batteries that are also pure sine wave with higher output for about 2x the cost littering the listings. I suspect these would be better options for mobile AC around the shop or work site.I recommend this when the price falls in the low $20s

This little inverter is pretty nifty. It takes one of your tool batteries and give you a mobile plug. It works for USB too but there are plenty of options for that. In my opinion, this is most useful when you want to plug in a light or a fan somewhere there is no outlet. I have used mine for a temporary light in a closet I was working on. Very handy. I also used it to plug in a fan in my side yard where I was trying to dry some painted parts. Worked great. I thought it was a little expensive but it did what it was supposed to do.
