The metal rectangles surrounds clear glass inside and gives this light a nice layered effect. The black color is smooth, sleek, and modern, and the metal rectangles are kind of industrial. The light is durable, the hanging chain is adjustable, and the installation is easy. I like this light. I think it's a great value for the money. It can fit into a lot of areas, and it will complement whatever area it's used in.

Beautiful finish, very easy to install. I wanted to replace an old, tarnished pendant light on my front porch since it was an older, outdated style and was looking its age with wear. This pendant light is elegant and modern without being too cold or minimalist. The chain is adjustable, but my porch is tall so I left it on the longest length it comes with. It took no more than 30 minutes to put up - just cut the power, reconnected the wires, and it was done. I used dimmable bulbs and have a dimmer switch, and it works just fine. When this pendant light became available for order, it was a no brainer. Especially given the generous size of the larger option. I am debating whether to use it as intended as a decorative light source, or repurpose it as a plant light. The double cage style gives it a similar appeal as some lanterns I've placed around the house, and the powdercoated black looks so chic against wood, stone, and my indoor plants.The pendant light arrived perfectly intact, having been packaged securely in multiple layers of foam, plastic & styrofoam. The glass panels that surround the inner cage are in perfect condition, and all the joints are clean with little evidence of welds. It just feels very well made!Each of the inner glass panels are both glued and crimped in place confirming the waterproof product claim. The power cord is very thick, and anchored well into the top of the pendant. The chain and circular wire cover are packaged separately for assembly after the wiring is installed. I am not confident in my own ability to connect this pendant myself given the wiring required, but it does not look like it would be too complicated to replace an existing light source. If hung just by the chain and NOT hardwired in, it would look great with some kind of battery-powered lighting option or filled with string lights that run up the chain, and down to a plug in the wall. The light socket is a standard size to accommodate most bulbs intended for general household use!The sleek appearance of this pendant light makes it suitable for a range of decor themes, and it is well made to last for years to come. I highly recommend it!
