this is well-made, small and has no superfluous 'features' or ugly designs. the blade is easy to remove/replace, the mechanism works every time and it has no visible plastic parts; all aluminum. exactly what i wanted and under $20. good job!

This little thing has absolutely no business being this nice for the price. It's basically a tiny OTF (Out the Front) scalpel that disappears into your pocket or onto a keychain. Closed, it's only a little larger than the blade itself, making it smaller than a disposable lighter while still being a genuinely useful cutting tool. I bought it expecting to use it as a backup and ended up carrying it far more often than I thought I would.The deployment mechanism is surprisingly satisfying. A single switch extends and retracts the blade, and while there isn't a separate lock, the slider takes a fair amount of force to move, especially when it's new. I never found myself accidentally deploying it in my pocket. Something would have to go very wrong for this to deploy accidentally. The aluminum body is also machined extremely well. Everything fits together cleanly, there's no rattling, and it feels much more expensive than it actually is.One of my favorite things about it is that it uses standard #24 scalpel blades. I take a weird amount of pride in being able to sharpen a knife well, but there's something incredibly liberating about a blade that never really gets dull. The moment it starts losing its edge, you spend about five seconds swapping in a fresh one and you're immediately back to an absurdly sharp cutting tool. The knife is really only limited by the strength of the disposable blade itself, which is more than enough for the kinds of precision cutting this is designed for. (Just don't use it to pry anything).It's compact, incredibly sharp, thoughtfully designed, and genuinely fun to use. Whether you carry it as a backup knife, use it around the workshop, or just appreciate clever little EDC gadgets, this is one of those products that punches well above its price point. It's an easy five stars.
