I bought this dust barrier pole system for a home renovation project, and it made containing the mess much easier. The adjustable poles are quick to set up and hold plastic sheeting securely without having to drill holes or permanently attach anything. I especially like the built-in zipper door, which makes it easy to get in and out of the work area without having to move the plastic. The spring-loaded poles adjust to different ceiling heights, and the non-slip feet help keep everything in place. It’s a practical setup for drywall work, sanding, painting, or any project where you want to keep dust and debris from spreading throughout the house.Overall, this is a convenient and reusable solution for creating a temporary dust barrier. Setup is straightforward, and being able to take it down and use it again is a big plus.

This is a really useful system for remodeling, painting, sanding, or any project where you want to keep dust and debris contained to one area. I like that it comes as a complete kit with four adjustable poles, plastic sheeting, two zippers, rubber feet, and a carrying bag.The adjustable poles are sturdy and easy to use. They extend from about 4 feet to 12 feet, so there is plenty of versatility for different rooms and ceiling heights. The spring loaded design and twist locking mechanism make it much easier to get the plastic tight against the ceiling without having to build a temporary wall. The zipper door is a great feature because you can still get in and out of the work area without pulling down the barrier. The nonslip feet also provide good stability and help keep everything securely in position.I especially like that the system is reusable and portable. The poles collapse when you are finished, and everything can go back into the included carrying bag for the next project. The clear plastic also allows light through rather than completely darkening the work area. The materials are not real thick, wish they were thicker, but I just use a thicker mil sheeting when needed. At around $120, it is not inexpensive, but considering everything included and the fact that the main components can be reused for future projects, I think it is a good value.5 stars. Sturdy, easy to set up, portable, reusable, and a very practical way to contain dust and debris during projects.

If you've ever done drywall, sanding, painting, or just about any remodeling inside a house, you know how quickly dust manages to find its way into rooms that aren't even close to where you're working. I've used plastic sheeting before, but taping it to walls and ceilings is a pain, especially when you need to keep going through the area. This pole system is a much better solution. The kit comes with four adjustable poles that extend from about 4.3 feet all the way to 12 feet, so they'll work with normal residential ceilings as well as considerably taller spaces. The spring-loaded design keeps pressure against the ceiling while the twist locks hold the poles at the desired height. The rubber feet also do a good job of keeping everything planted without having to permanently attach anything. What I really like is that this is a complete kit. You get the poles, plastic sheeting, two adhesive zippers, foot caps, and a carrying bag. The zippers are especially useful because you can create an actual doorway through the plastic instead of pulling back the sheeting every time you need to enter or leave the work area. That alone does a much better job of keeping the barrier sealed during a project.Setup is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of positioning the plastic and poles. It also doesn't require drilling holes or covering the walls and ceiling with tape. When the job is finished, the poles collapse back down and everything can be stored in the included bag for the next project. The aluminum poles are lightweight, which makes them easy to handle, but they still feel sturdy enough once they're under tension. I wouldn't expect them to act like structural supports, obviously, but for holding plastic sheeting securely from floor to ceiling they work very well. One thing I would recommend is leaving yourself enough extra plastic at the floor and sides to properly seal the work area. The poles hold the barrier up, but containing really fine drywall dust still depends on how carefully you seal the perimeter.Overall: This is one of those tools that seems unnecessary until you've spent an afternoon taping plastic to walls and ceilings, only to have it come loose halfway through the job. The adjustable poles make putting up a temporary dust wall much faster, and having zipper access means I don't have to destroy the barrier every time I walk through it. Everything packs back into the carrying bag afterward, so it's a system I can actually reuse instead of starting from scratch on every project.

ReviewThis dust barrier system is a great solution for keeping dust and debris contained during remodeling and construction projects. The kit includes everything needed to create a temporary barrier, and the components feel durable and well-made. Setup was much quicker than expected, with the telescoping poles extending easily and locking securely into place. The spring-loaded design makes installation simple without requiring ladders or permanent hardware. Once assembled, the poles held the plastic sheeting firmly from floor to ceiling, creating a reliable barrier that helped keep dust from spreading into the rest of the house. The non-slip rubber feet provided good stability throughout the project. The included zipper door is especially convenient, allowing easy access in and out of the work area without taking down the barrier. I also like that the transparent sheeting lets in natural light, making the workspace feel brighter while still containing dust. When the project was finished, everything packed neatly into the included carry bag for storage and future use.ProsComplete kit with poles, plastic sheeting, zipper, and storage bagFast and easy installationStrong telescoping aluminum poles with secure twist locksNon-slip rubber feet provide excellent stabilityZipper door allows convenient walk-through accessTransparent sheeting helps maintain visibilityPortable, reusable, and easy to storeExcellent for home remodeling, painting, and renovation projectsConsProper setup takes a few minutes to ensure the sheeting is fully tensionedLarge work areas may require additional barrier sectionsSummaryA durable and easy-to-use dust barrier system that effectively contains dust while providing convenient access through the zipper door. The QYXJAEO 12FT Dust Barrier Pole System is a great tool for both contractors and DIYers alike. Setting it up is easy because the poles twist and lock from 4.3 to 12 feet, and the spring-retractable tops snug them up tight against the ceiling. The clever pivoting, padded tops include a way to securely lock the plastic sheeting in place, allowing a single person to easily set up the entire barrier without needing a ladder. Best of all, no tape is necessary in most setups, preventing potential wall damage. The non-slip feet do an excellent job of keeping the poles completely sturdy without leaving scuffs on the floor or drywall. This complete kit comes packed with the plastic sheeting, two self-adhesive zipper doors for easy access, and a durable zippered carry bag to pack it all away. If you want to keep dust contained and prevent mess from taking over the rest of the building during a project, this kit is worth every penny.

This dust barrier system is excellent and can be used for various tasks. I first used it to close off a room in our house that had to be painted with a sprayer, and not one iota of paint mist went out of the very wide, doorless room opening. The pictures I included are for placing a loose screen netting on an opening of a wall on our outdoor kitchen/patio area to reduce the wind from blowing our wind chimes too much and creating more sound than we or the neighbors can appreciate and enjoy. The poles are ultra strong, spring loaded and quick to adjust properly. Two huge thumbs up!

I got this for renovation projects where I need to keep drywall dust, debris, and paint overspray from migrating into the rest of the building. The Functionality is amazing because the four adjustable poles extend from 4.3 feet up to 12 feet and hold the transparent plastic securely from floor to ceiling. It was easy to install, and the intelligence of the design means I can create a temporary work zone without spending a ridiculous amount of time building a temporary wall. The aluminum poles have a Solid Material feel while remaining lightweight enough to move around easily. The spring tension, twist locking mechanism, and rubber feet create a Durable Design that stays firmly positioned once adjusted. How it Fit against the ceiling and floor was impressive, and the transparent sheeting is especially useful because it keeps the work area visible instead of turning the renovation zone into a dark plastic cave. The packaging was organized with the poles, plastic sheeting, two zippers, foot caps, and carrying bag together. There are lots of extras included, which makes the complete system excellent Value for the money. The zipper opening is another example where the detail was on point because I can move in and out of the work area without taking down the barrier every time. This setup is versatile and Flexible for Every Scenario involving painting, remodeling, construction, or DIY Projects. It Stands out because everything collapses back into the included bag for storage and can be reused on the next project. 😂 Before this, my dust containment strategy sometimes involved closing a door and hoping for the best. This system is considerably more intelligent than my previous engineering approach.

.This is a great system, and the poles hold very tight. The telescoping poles are really what make the whole setup work so well. They extend quickly, lock firmly into position, and put enough tension on the plastic to create a substantial temporary wall rather than having sheeting loosely hanging everywhere. The spring loaded design and rubber feet keep everything planted securely between the floor and ceiling. Once tightened, I was impressed by how solid the poles remain.Having the plastic sheeting and zippers included makes this a complete system rather than simply a set of support poles. The zipper access is especially useful because the barrier can remain intact while still allowing people to move in and out of the work area. When the project is finished, everything breaks down and goes into the carry bag to be used again. Great system, quick to put up and take down, and most importantly, the poles hold very tight.
