We are DIY’ers in this house and I’m always looking for ways to do things easier and better! The grip on this is great, works well in both my small hands and my husbands huge hands. There is no spring mechanism, and it does feel a little “clunky” opening it at times, but a shot of WD-40 quickly resolves that sticky feeling when opening or shutting it. Its edges are very sharp and allows for a nice flush cut against what you’re working on. We used it for electrical work around finishing the basement - was nice to be able to strip wires and crimp etc. it’s priced a bit high for what I think is fair, however if you think about multiple tools that can stand for something too. Overall, I think it’s a great DIY tool but would likely leave more to be desired for someone who’s constantly working on various sizes of wires needing to still switch things out.

I got these to replace a pair I lost. These are made of heavy, sharp, and functional steel. I am not an electrician, but I do have hobby projects that I have wired with electrical components. These pliers are great for cutting, stripping, and crimping small wire. They are easy and intuitive to use. They have nice and comfortable grips so they do not slip. I also like that these are a more compact size. For what I do, I do not need anything really big. I know these have other functions, but I have not sheared any screws or anything like that. I just use these on occasion for small projects, and they are totally fine for that.

These multi-function diagonal cutting pliers have quickly replaced several single-purpose tools in my everyday electrical kit. The cutting edges are induction-hardened and slice cleanly through heavy gauge wire without dulling or denting. The wire stripper and crimper notches work smoothly and accurately without nicking delicate copper conductors. The ergonomic handles provide fantastic leverage and comfort, significantly cutting down on hand fatigue during long wiring projects.

These Handyslicer 7" 5‑in‑1 diagonal cutting pliers are a must‑have for any technician, construction worker, electrician, or DIYer. The durability and build quality stand out immediately — the tool feels solid in the hand, and the comfort‑grip handles help prevent slipping even when working in tight or awkward spaces. The cutters are sharp and strong, allowing you to cut multiple wires at once without struggling. Having the ability to strip, crimp, shear screws, and cut all in one tool saves a ton of time and eliminates the need to carry multiple separate tools. For quick jobs or everyday use, this multi‑function design is extremely convenient. The overall value is excellent — great price for a tool that replaces several others while still performing reliably. This is definitely something worth keeping in your toolbox or tool setup. Highly recommended.

These diagonal cutting pliers are designed for wire cutting and stripping, crimping and screw shearing. They are listed as having hardened steel to make the cutting surface last longer. I found the pliers worked well as general all purpose cutting and stripping side cutters. They are capable of cutting up to 22mm cable. The versatile design means you aren't constantly swapping cutters for different aspects of a job. The grip was very comfortable and provided good leverage. These are fairly nice pliers but for the price range I would expect top quality.pliers. I recommend these pliers for general use but it is possible better value pliers are out there.

Very handy, good quality materials. Good heft/weight. Very easy to use, I love the crimper built in, its good for smaller sizes. Very versatile, the stripper is good for small diameter, think signaling wires/load cell/rs232/etc. Definitely staying in my tool bag. I would recommend, especially if you deal with a lot of smaller gauge wiring.

I have decades of experience with things electrical & mechanical. For the most part, I've found multi function/use tools do several tasks poorly versus a single purpose tool dedicated to the task. To Begin, this tool claims to combine 5 functions in one tool...Let's see, it says; cutting copper, wire stripping, terminal crimping, and screw shearing. That's 4, what's the 5th???...I guess it's the plastic handle cover. After examining and trying out the tool, it was time for the review. I thought about getting technical with Rockwell hardness, wire gauges, metallurgy & a few more. I'm just gonna save us all some time and say "I've been there, done that" with tools like this and tell ya what to expect. It will perform the 4 functions within very limited scope and provide mediocre results that probably won't satisfy your expectations. It claims performance for professionals... no way. It's not "heavy duty" and durability will be an issue. It's certainly better than nothing and will be ok for occasional DIY use and crafting hobbyists. The price-point is quite heavy. Tools like this abound at the Chain Import Tool Store for cheap.
