This is the type of upgrade that once you do, you wonder why you didn’t do it much earlier. This is a very nice hose, made of a highly flexible material, and the coil obviously makes it retract to a smaller area very easily, but can be stretched to get your air tool to the point that it needs to be used. The ends of the hose are fitted nicely and are sealed with the quick connects in place already, which is already an upgrade over my previous hose that just came with threaded ends. While on the subject of the prior hose, it was a more hard, rigid material, and it would actually kink somewhat like a garden hose lately. Also, the ends where it met its threaded component were no longer truly airtight, so it was definitely time to replace.I’m very happy with this hose. It’s hard to explain, but it is more comfortable to use, it stretches further than the prior hose, and seems much more durable. The ends are reinforced with a rubber/vinyl handle, which is a better design that the spring on the prior hose. And it’s an older craftsman compressor so the bright red hose matches the compressor… I’m easily amused.I installed it use it for a little while and then I let the compressor go to pressure and just let the hose stay in place after about 20 minutes. I didn’t notice any drop in pressure so the hose appears to be as airtight, which is a little impressive with quick connect fittings!Again, I’m very happy with the hose, and really feel now that I should’ve made this upgrade long ago

I got this item for free, the following is my honest and unbiased review. Some years ago I inherited my father's Craftsman air compressor, which came with a conventional rubber hose. Over time that rubber hose was slowly deteriorating, to the point of needing replacement. This Lubiyack polyurethane recoil hose is exactly what I was looking for. The 25 foot length is perfect for my needs. It includes a quick-disconnect fitting which (along with a few additional parts purchased here on Amazon) allows me to swap between attachments. Very satisfied with this product.

I don't use the compressor much, but when I do, my long hoses on hand crank wheels are such a pain. Now I have this thing. Right off the bat it's ready to use, coming with quick connect ends it's plug and play. Being coiled is a plus, but also has it's drawbacks. When not in use and stretched out, it's coils only gets so small and lays around in a bulging bundle. At least came in a heavy duty zip lock to keep it under control. But think about it, if this is it's only drawback, and it really is, that must mean this thing is as good as it gets.I got the 50', a 20 gallon compressor is a bit hard to drag around in the garage, and to get around my full size, 30' truck, I need every inch of it. If you want another drawback about coiled hoses, drag it around the tires, it will get stuck, but so does the straight ones. But the straight ones get pinched under the tires, but with the coiled one, a flick of the wrist and it's free. This hose is available in multiple colors and lengths to suit your requirements, and unlike extension cords, length does really impact it performance. Worth every star.

This compact recoil hose is a convenient choice for a garage, workbench, or portable air-compressor setup. Its coiled polyurethane construction stretches out when you use a pneumatic tool, then retracts afterward to help keep the work area neater and reduce hose tangles.Key featuresSize: 1/4-inch inside diameter and 10-foot working length.Pre-installed fittings: Includes a 1/4-inch industrial quick coupler and plug for faster tool changes and plug-and-play connection to compatible compressor systems.Polyurethane hose: Lightweight, flexible, and typically resistant to abrasion, oil, and grease—useful around automotive and workshop projects.Bend restrictors: Reinforce the hose near the fittings, where repeated bending can otherwise cause kinks or early wear.Color: Bright blue is easier to spot on a busy shop floor.Best useIt is well suited for close-range tasks such as tire inflation, blow guns, brad nailers, staplers, small impact tools, and light pneumatic work near the compressor. A 1/4-inch ID hose is common for low-to-moderate airflow tools, but high-demand tools—such as larger impact wrenches, die grinders, or paint sprayers—may perform better with a larger-diameter and/or longer straight hose. Before connecting, confirm that the hose’s maximum pressure rating meets or exceeds your compressor’s regulated output; comparable versions list about 145–150 PSI maximum, but use the rating printed on the specific hose.

I got this coiled hose to use just for the air chuck. Something I could pull down from the wall to air up the bike tires or garden equipment without having to uncoil my long hose. It works great for that. It's much more compact than I expected. About half the size of the football I use for scale. It can "hold it's own weight" without a tool attached so it pulls itself up off the floor, at least for now. But, when I plug the male end into my compressor (any of 3 different ports), it leaks ever so slightly. Really disappointing. Maybe it's an anomaly on mine. I have to other hoses that don't leak at all. The compressor won't kick on if I'm not using it. This one leaks ever so slightly and thus the compressor kicks off and on. So, I keep it unplugged. I'll tinker with it. Maybe be able to fix it. But for the sake of a review, it leaks. Surprising, because it looks to have quality, brass connectors, but it still leaked. I noticed it at low pressure (below 30 psi) and about the same at 120 PSI. Be aware and check closely on yours.

I selected this one piece polyurethane recall air hose for use of my air compressor and pneumatic tools. The hose is really long. I know it says 50 ft, but it's really long! I do love that it's I don't have to drag my compressor around everywhere, I can just plug in and use my pneumatic tools or other tools without having to go back and adjust where the compressor is.The polyurethane construction provides flexibility while resisting sleeping under normal operating conditions. I like that a recoils back to the hose and it retracts nearly completely will not in use, so there's not much clutter in the workspace. The quick connect fittings have securely to a standard compressor outlet, and it maintains a consistent airtight seal. I would suggest using some Teflon tape just to make sure. After several weeks of regular use the hose continues to perform with zero leaks and it's like it's brand new. The bend restrictors effectively protect the connection points from excessive stress.I would definitely recommend this to anybody that's looking for a solution for your garage, where do you find yourself constantly having to drag your compressors around. I would highly recommend this as I stated before, and it's an awesome value for the money.

This is a nice little hose for quick jobs with my air compressor. I was tired of dragging out my 50-foot hose every time I needed air for something small and then having to coil the whole thing back up afterward. Now I don’t have to.The coiled design keeps it compact, and the quick-connect fittings work great. For those jobs where I only need a few feet of hose, this is much more convenient.Pros:* Great for quick jobs* Compact coiled design* Saves me from pulling out my 50-foot hose* Quick-connect fittings work great* Lightweight and flexible* Great valueCons:* None so farVerdict:This is exactly what I wanted for smaller jobs around the garage. It’s compact, connects quickly, and saves me the hassle of dealing with my long air hose when I don’t need it. Great value and a handy addition to my air compressor setup

Rubber air hoses can last and last. They can also oxidize, while in storage, and become useless. However, these polyurethane hoses shouldn't have that problem. Although, they might fail for other reasons like kinks, cuts, etc. But, on the positive side, they are easy to store and to deploy. Which is the main reason they were ordered. The two hoses arrived in 6 days which exactly matched expectations. They were in good condition inside their factory zip-to-close bag.Just as expected, they are bright yellow and have male and female quick connects on opposite ends. I tested them with 100 PSI each and they were fine. The couplers connected to my existing ones without issue. They operate very smoothly and positively. The hose material feels strong -- Not flimsy at all. I like that the hoses coil back to a 4" wide and 14" long space when not in use.
