This, at least to me, is an unusually styled fixture. Style, though, is subject and I've tried to not let it affect my overall rating.If you like the style, though, there's a few things, good and bad, to keep in mind.First, the "arms" of this fixture cast light to the sides (not straight down, and not up to bounce it off the ceiling. This makes the light more diffuse, and avoids harsh shadows, but it's not terribly bright. The description says it's suitable for a bedroom or dining room, but unless your rooms are quite small, I'd probably think more "hallway or entry".Also, with regards to brightness, unless I missed it, no lumen output is given. This says "48 watts". If it's indeed 48 watts of LED, it should be *very* bright, but it's not really. I almost wonder if it's supposed to be "equivalent to a 48 watt incandescent bulb" - which would be an unusual number and comparison, but seems able right for the amount of light the fixture puts out.Installation is a mixed bag. It's not difficult, but it is a little fidgety. The included instructions are poor, but you don't really need them anyway.There's a versatile remote. The good news is the fixture "remembers" the last setting, so just flipping on the existing light switch will return the light to whatever setting you used last.

Beautiful Ceiling Light. Installation was easy but “not” straight forward. The control devices had double sided tape but no instructions concerning them. The remote control easily paired to the light, but no instructions on the various buttons. The installation manual for the light noted a installation video available with no link I could find. Also noted was a phone app to control the light which I could not get to pair with light. Also it asked for a serial number for quicker setup which could not be found. I really like the light, but lack of install instructions was reason for low rating.

I was pleasantly surprised by this 4-light LED ceiling fixture. Everything was well packaged, the instructions were easy to follow, and assembly went together without any headaches. I'm disabled, so I have a buddy coming over to handle the actual installation, but from putting it together I can already tell it's a nice-looking fixture. The modern design and included remote with dimming features are a great bonus. Looking forward to getting it installed and seeing it light up the room!

This is definitely a modern fixture and it might remind you of a spider.It is light and easy to handle while you’re working on it. Work slowly since the “tentacles” are long.If you’re going to hang this yourself, you should find the assembly pretty easy. If you’ve never done it before, consider having an electrician do it.Let’s talk about size and illumination. Be sure to measure where you want to put this. The fixture is not very big and the light output, while good, is pointed to the sides, not down. I’m not sure it would be enough for an average size dining room. There is not any information on the brightness of the light so it’s hard to know what this would be equivalent to in a regular bulb.For instance, many LED bulbs have a lumen rating which you can use to compare the approximate brightness to something you may be familiar with. For example, an “100 watt” incandescent bulb puts out about 1500 (or a little more) lumens. So if an LED light gives you that number, you’ll have an idea how much light it can provide. The only spec given on this at the time of this review is 48 watts. That’s a measure of how much power is consumed to create the light. Now, 48 watts for an LED light says that should be quite bright, approximating the light of a 200 watt incandescent light.While it’s possible that that number is correct, the design of this fixture reduces the effectiveness of that light. I believe much of that is due to the light pointing to the sides and not down.So, what does this mean? My installation is in a small hallway, with dimensions of 10’x3’. That’s only 30 sq ft. A 10x10 room would be 100 sq ft. I can’t see this being enough light, assuming that it will be your primary light, but there are certainly other factors to consider, such as how many walls there are (vs. an open room) and paint colors for light reflection.The 3 light temperatures are a good idea. You can switch between them to get the type of white light you like. I like 3000k. This temperature approximates the look of a 100 watt incandescent bulb, not too yellow but not the harsh daylight look.I like the design and the quality of the light.
