I have a very high ceiling, and changing the bulb is a pain, so I usually hire a pro for this kind of task, but I tried this pole, and it works great. It is very long and sturdy, and this pole is adjustable; it comes with 3 attachments, which makes it easy and safe to use. Very good value. I wonder if they sell an attachment for window cleaning!!

I bought this for changing bulbs, but the ball head is amazing for pressing ceiling reset buttons and opening skylight vents. So glad I got this combo.

This telescoping pole has multiple uses around the home, making it a valuable addition to my cleaning and home maintenance arsenal. It has uses for dusting my 12’-16’ corners and ceilings, changing ceiling canister lightbulbs, removing leaves from my roofline, and washing my second story windows.The pole extends easily and locks into place securely. With minimal modification, I can use it with several screw on “business end” accessories I already own- like a squeegee, a bulb changer, a brush roller, and a dust mop.I am an over 60 female and find that this pole is weighty, but not so heavy as to be unduly difficult to manage. I think it will last a long time as it appears to be solidly made.

I have a window in our stairwell that's very high up and we've rigged up other telescopic poles that weren't quite long enough and currently I have battery powered candles meant for Christmas time that have long lost their battery power and one is tipped over, and they've been stuck in that window sill for about a year and a half because I can't find anything long enough for it.That's where this shines! It is MORE than long enough, which shocked me since I gave up on finding something that would work but that I could store easily. This goes al the way down to just 5 feet so you can keep it right next to your brooms and mops, but gets as long as 20 feet!! That's so magical. And it does this without losing its ability to handle things like some telescopic rods that weaken in the center when they're extended. This one stays sturdy even when it's extended, and you can easily attach things to the end since it's a universal screw on type end.The longest I've used it is 12 feet, and it's hard to believe it can go another 8, but it can! I see so many uses for this in my future and it feels good just knowing if a toy gets stuck on the roof (yes that's happened thanks to having 3 boys) or I want to paint my stairwell area, or put Christmas lights on the second story outside, this is in my arsenal. Highly recommend it!

This pole was selected for its length. If I can avoid ladders to accomplish a task, that’s the route I will take first. Some windows that I clean are about 23 feet from the ground, so this pole hits the sweet spot for no ladders. With the pole collapsed, it is approximately 58 inches. The pole is thin-wall aluminium with plastic fittings. Those fittings are compression tabs squeezed with plastic thumb flaps. On the exterior of the pole are two sections of foam grips, which are a very nice touch for comfort and control. Because of the design and materials, the pole is lightweight, coming in at 3 pounds 6 ounces on a postal scale. In the package is a rubberised adapter that seems like packing, but it is not, so don’t throw it away. Inside that cone adapter are threads that attach it to the aluminium coarse-threaded ferule at the top of the pole. That cone allows you to connect tools like a smooth-bore squeegee to the pole by compressing it in the bore. If you are unaware, some paint roller frames have female threads that can mate with poles like this to paint ceilings. I checked the threads on the pole with such a frame, and it connected like it was supposed to. With all the sections of the pole fully extended, the pole flexes at the couplings a bit. If you don’t need to extend the pole to its maximum, allow each segment to be a few inches down into the next lower pole, and most of that flex will disappear as the side loads are transmitted to segment walls instead of the plastic couplings. The plastic compression thumb flaps are the weakest element in this design; they are held in place by a metal roll pin, and you must make certain that they are flush with the pole, or the supported segment will collapse down suddenly, which happened to me. I would recommend to the vendor that the flaps be changed to a stronger material like aluminium for both strength and lifespan of the tool.Add-on uses: Dust ceiling fans, gutter cleaning with a nozzle attached, roof snow rake, retrieving a drone, camera boom, and emergency rescue reach pole.Opinion: The pole is an easy length to be stored in a closet; the grips make it easy to use, but the plastic compression flaps make it light duty and have questionable durability.

We have a 2-story house that has always been a challenge for cleaning, since we could not reach the high-up dormer window. This adjustable telescoping pole fixes this reach problem without having to climb on an unstable ladder. It has a threaded universal end for fitting accessories (not included). The pole is actually very well built using an aluminum construction, which is necessary to ensure stiffness once you extend the pole all the way. I like the 5–20 ft range which provides good length flexibility with easy storage in my garage when it’s not used. However, when receiving this item, be sure to inspect it for damage as it is shipped in its original unpadded box. The first item we got had a damaged lever and bottom cap. It was necessary for us to first request a replacement which allowed us to then evaluate the pole once it arrived in good shape.The pole uses 4 nested extension pieces and has cam-locks that are intuitive and easy to set on the fly. To check it out, I grabbed a cleaning attachment we already own and it was great to finally reach the wall corners and ledges around the high window. While walking outside, I noticed a hornet nest under an eave that was high up and extended the pole to knock it down. There’s probably a hundred uses for a pole like this – you just need to get the right attachments and go at it!
