These seem well built for the price. The specs are good but documentation is incomplete compared with the more expensive brands such as T Tocus. Those brands include a chart showing how fast the breaker will blow based on the amp draw. The other con I have is that the terminal lug size is not specified. That's really a critical bit of information for an informed buying decision. It looked like an M6 or 1/4" from the pictures but I measured M5 or 3/16". That makes for a slightly loose fit for the standard M6 cable ring connector. Not a show stopper, just something to keep in mind.If you want a budget DC circuit breaker, this will be fine. If you have a critical application, I'd go with the name brands and pay the bucks. A circuit break is like insurance, you won't know how good it is until something bad happens; then it's too late.

Maybe you're like me and you need a circuit breaker for solar and this might be a good place to look cuz it has variable voltage and a high amperage. You can either use it on the way in the battery or on the way out or both depending on how you want to do it. It's very small compact which makes the functionality of it good in terms of getting it to fit into different places.

This is a great option if you're looking to fuse a circuit and also have a switch on the line. You can certainly buy them separately but then you've got two components and an extra wire on the circuit. Not a big deal but this helps clean things up and its simple.I didn't see on the product any amperage-time delay. I presume it likely won't immediately pop at 100 amps so things like motor surge don't trip it. At least, it hasn't done that for me. Hopefully that's the case and it isn't because it's faulty.Switching it on and off is super easy, and I like that it has mounting holes on the corners. The studs are also tall enough to hold several ring terminals which is great.Perhaps the only thing I don't like are the little rubber caps for the studs. They're too small as-is for even blank studs, let along when you place a ring terminal over it. So as far as protecting the live studs, it gets low points. If I was wishing for more features, I would wish for an integrated LED which is either illuminated when circuit is closed or open. Maybe both via color coding. It'll work for a lot of projects and is well worth considering. Just keep in mind that the studs on it will pretty much be exposed and those little caps are pretty much unusable.

A heavy-duty 100A manual reset circuit breaker; perfect for adding reliable overload protection and a quick disconnect for off-grid battery banks.Wiring up a DIY solar power system with LiFePO4 batteries and a hybrid inverter requires proper safety cutoffs to prevent electrical shorts. I grabbed this 100 Amp DC breaker to add a reliable layer of protection between the main power station and the battery bank. It serves a great dual purpose, functioning as an automatic overload trip and a highly convenient manual disconnect switch when needing to safely work on the wiring. The overall material quality of the housing is solid. The thick outer casing provides great hardness and durability, easily capable of surviving being mounted to a backer board in a hot garage or strapped into a battery box. The connection terminals are sized well and accept heavy-gauge wire lugs without an issue. Once the hardware is clamped down, the connection stiffness is rock solid, preventing the heavy copper cables from vibrating loose over time.Functionality and ease of use are exactly what is needed for high-amp electrical routing. Flipping the manual reset arm requires deliberate force, ensuring it won't accidentally trip if bumped by another tool or piece of gear. The arm snaps into place with a firm click, providing great operation smoothness and immediate visual confirmation that the circuit is dead. Handling the 12V to 48V range effortlessly gives it excellent versatility across different 12-volt automotive accessory circuits or larger 48-volt off-grid arrays. It completely eliminates the hassle of tracking down and replacing blown inline fuses every time there is a surge. The overall size is compact enough to mount easily without eating up too much real estate on a crowded panel. It provides excellent value for money and gets the job done safely for heavy-duty electrical projects.Pros:Manual reset arm acts as a fast and convenient battery disconnect switch for system maintenanceMaterial quality is solid and the housing offers great durability against impactTerminals clamp down tightly on heavy-gauge wire for a secure, low-resistance connectionCompletely eliminates the ongoing cost and frustration of replacing standard blown inline fusesCons:The reset arm requires a decent amount of physical force, making it slightly tough to flip in very cramped spacesWhile the casing is water-resistant against splashes, it is not completely watertight for heavy marine submersion

This review is for the 100 Amp DC Circuit Breaker 12V-48V Battery Disconnect Switch Manual Reset:Product: Circuit ProtectionQuality: Very goodMy application for use is to be the first safety device coming of the battery positive post. I have it fused with a 100A fuse at the moment and have blown too many of them accidentally drawing too much current. It will be better to reset a breaker than continuing to blow fuses. It is well made and I like it a lot for ease of installation. Comes with mounting screws too. Works for me!

I recently added this one hundred amp DC circuit breaker into my camper van project to tie it into my new roof mounted air conditioner, and it has been working great so far. Installing it was a straightforward process, and it gives me a lot of confidence knowing I have a reliable way to manually reset and disconnect power to the system when needed. The build quality feels very sturdy and durable, with heavy duty construction that inspires trust when dealing with higher amperage 12V to 48V setups. Visually it looks neat and professional once mounted in the vehicle. Beyond just working well, it offers fantastic value for money for anyone building out a mobile power setup or working with auxiliary batteries. If you need a dependable disconnect switch to protect your electrical investments, this breaker is a solid and practical choice.
