I haven’t been able to install these yet, but initial testing looks very promising. Unfortunately, my construction project was delayed, so I haven’t actually been able to install them in the wall yet.I didn’t want to hold up the review indefinitely, though, so I pulled everything out and tested the lights. My initial impression is very positive. They put out a good amount of light and appear to be a nicely designed system for integrating lighting into a slat wall without having to come up with a DIY solution.The only thing that surprised me was the size of the power supply. It’s a little larger than I expected, although that’s not really an issue for my planned installation since I’ll be able to hide it.Obviously, I can’t comment yet on how easy they are to install, how well they fit into my particular acoustic panels, or how they hold up over time. I’ll be interested to see how everything looks once the wall is finished.For now, though, I’m happy with what I’ve seen. The lights work as expected, have good brightness, and seem like a great way to add some interesting accent lighting to a slat wall. I’m looking forward to getting them installed.

I used this DEIGCYU kit to add accent lighting to our slat wall panels, and the sizing matched our 13mm groove dimensions correctly, no forcing or ill-fitting installation issues that would come from a generic strip light not designed for this specific panel type. Having 2 rolls at 10ft each gave enough coverage to complete the full accent wall without running short partway through.Tunable white from 2700K to 5000K has provided flexibility, warmer tones for cozy evening ambiance and cooler settings for a brighter, more functional look during the day. Dimming range from 1% to 100% has been genuinely useful, letting me get a very subtle glow for late-night ambiance rather than jumping straight from off to a noticeable brightness level.App and voice control have worked reliably, easy to adjust settings without needing to physically access the wall panel area. Cuttable design gave flexibility to customize length for our specific wall dimensions without wasting material or needing exact pre-cut sections.Build quality feels solid, adhesive backing has held securely within the slat grooves without any strips coming loose after weeks of regular use. I cannot get over how amazing these lights look with my slat wall panels. They completely transformed the wall and gave it that high-end, custom-built look I was hoping for. During the day, they blend beautifully into the dark grooves of the slat wall and are barely noticeable when they’re turned off. But at night, they are absolutely stunning. The glow between the panels creates such a warm, luxurious atmosphere and makes the entire room feel more expensive and polished.The fit is one of my favorite things about them. They’re designed specifically for 15mm slat wall grooves, so they sit neatly inside the channels instead of looking like regular LED strips stuck onto the wall. The press-fit design gives everything a clean, flush, finished appearance, and there are no screws, clips, or adhesive to deal with.I’m also obsessed with how customizable the lighting is. I can adjust the white temperature anywhere from a cozy 2700K warm white to a brighter 5000K cool white, and the brightness can be dimmed depending on the mood. I love keeping them warm and dim in the evenings for that cozy ambient glow, but it’s great having the option to make them brighter when I want more light.Being able to control everything through the app is incredibly convenient, and the Alexa and Google Home compatibility makes them feel even more high-end. These groove lights completely transformed our slat wall and gave it a much more polished, high-end appearance. The strips fit neatly between the wood slats, so the lighting looks integrated instead of like regular LED tape attached to the surface. I like being able to adjust both the brightness and color temperature, from a warm relaxing glow to a brighter white light. The app controls are straightforward, and voice control is especially convenient when the lights are installed behind furniture or around the TV. The strips can be cut to fit different sections, which made it easier to customize the layout for our wall. Installation took some careful measuring to keep the lines straight, but the finished result was worth the effort.

I was worried these wouldn't fit my slats, but no need. The material squeezes into the groove nice and tight, and it installs pretty much universally, from what I can tell it works up to at least a 3/4 inch gap between slats. If you've been hesitating because of your panel spacing, that was my exact worry and it turned out to be a non issue.The real payoff is the look. I already have sound dampening wall slats in my office, and adding these lights has completely elevated my Zoom background. I look like a podcaster now. Colleagues comment on it in meetings. Pair this with a great webcam light and your setup is complete.Quality exceeded my expectations for the price. The strips seat firmly and stay put, the light is even with no ugly hotspots, and everything about the kit feels well made and built to last rather than like a cheap novelty strip. Two 10 foot rolls was plenty to make a statement wall.The colors are really good too, easy to dial in exactly the vibe you want, from subtle warm accent to full podcast studio. For what this costs versus what it does for the room, it's an easy five stars. One of the best upgrades I've made to my home office.

I got this because I liked the fact it just plugged into a wall outlet. However, I did have trouble with the instructions which did not make it clear that each pair of wires went into the same port of the controller. I've never used one of these devices before, so it took me a bit to figure out how to secure the wires to the controller. Once done, however, the rest was very simple and the lights worked great. I avoid adding new apps to my phone so it's great that the SmartLife app is compatible. It found these lights immediately and connected with no problem. Now I can set the lights to a timer and dim as needed. These lights are well made and flexible with cutting points clearly marked on the back. The thick silicone squeezes into the panel grooves very securely - after a bit of coaxing. The light is soft, not glaring, and can be adjusted from warm to cool tones. I gave this four stars instead of five partly because the instructions are not clear about how the wires connect, but mostly because I think the price is pretty high for about 20 feet of silicone LED lights and only one controller. That really limits your installation options unless you're able to cut through the slat wall to run wires, or have horizontal slats where you can butt them up together. At this price, I would have liked the ability to connect lights in series or spread them out without spending another $200 for another kit.

No pics for privacy reasons (gotta respect teen sons own personal space) But these lights are the most amazing things that are like aliens. You wanna believe don't you? My teen is into otherworldly adventures, surrounded by all his gaming apparatuses and the slatted sound proof walls we are being forced to install. This stuff gets expensive as he required more than one set of these invisible lights. 🤦The professional quality lights match the already professional quality of his slat panels. Bring voice controlled is a new way for my son to STEM. He is autistic and loving these. And as a mom? I'm loving his mood which is out of this world now. 🙏And he was able to fully install them himself. So proud of my boy♥️ Worth the cost even if you balk at the current price.
