These are pretty cool. My old way of saving paint - temporarily- was to cover the paint tray in a garbage bag, which works pretty well for a day or 2. These will allow me to save expensive paint much longer.The bags are thick and heavy weight and the caps are solid. And keeping extra paint in a dark, cool area will extend my leftover paint WAY longer! I also would put a schmeer of the paint color, dried, on the outside.

This is such a great solution for storing leftover paint without having to keep a collection of bulky cans around. We always save some paint from each project for future touch-ups, but those partially filled cans take up so much unnecessary space in the garage.These bags are perfect for consolidating what’s left into something much easier to store. The material is nice and thick, so they don’t feel flimsy or like you need to worry about them leaking. The caps screw on tightly and feel very secure, and the included funnel makes transferring the paint from the original can surprisingly easy and much less messy.I also really like having an area on each bag to label the color, finish, room and date. Months or years later, there’s no guessing which mystery shade of beige belongs where!Such a practical idea and a great thing to keep in the garage for current and future painting projects. I am in the process of painting the interior of my house and have several cans of partially used paint in the shed (trim, two wall colors, 1-gallon and quart cans). I wanted to consolidate the paint and store them in a more secure fission. This is my first time using paint storage bags and was very pleased. I have consolidated my paint, can clearly see how much I have, all of the air is removed, and the paint is ready when I am. The kit comes with two collapsable funnels that make paint transfer easy.

I like regularly touching up my walls and baseboards, and I have done other projects that require touchups, but I often fail to do so simply because I hate fighting with those paint cans! They are hard to pry open. And the cans rust, so when I lift the lid, the rust flakes fall into my paint and have to be fished out. And the huge paint cans take up so much space. It's annoying having large cans with a very small amount of paint in them - especially for apartment dwellers like myself.Enter these paint storage bags! Game changer!! First of all, I love that you get two funnels. If you want to give some bags to someone else, you can also give them their own funnel and still have one for yourself. I did find that the paint left residue in the funnel, even after rinsing thoroughly. But a quick wipe with some rubbing alcohol removed it easily.The bags can stand up by themselves if you get them just right, but it can be tricky. So, it's probably best to have two hands when you are filling the bags up. I found that I couldn't get them to stand up on their own until after I had already poured some paint in them. But I was able to fill my bags up by myself.The tops hold securely. I was able to open the bags and close them back up. I'm happy to have these! Now I can keep my walls looking great with a minimum of time and effort! And...I have more storage space!Life is good!

This is one of those finds that I never knew existed, but boy was I glad I found it! I always want to keep some paint for touch-ups but have thrown out so many cans of dried paint from rusted paint cans. This is such a great idea and so easy to use and store. The bags themselves are made from a heavy weight plastic and have locking caps on top. They feel as if they will be durable over time and are made from quality materials. The caps are a bit hard to get off, but not once you understand the trick by pressing the tab. The bags are a great size, holding a full quart of paint and the color of the paint is fully visible too. You can also write paint details on the front of the bag. It comes with a collapsible silicone funnel which is easy to clean after use. It requires some finesse to get the paint into the bag, especially if you are trying to pour paint from a gallon container. Having two people would be much easier. Once the paint is in the bag, it will expand and stand up on its own, but not before hand. This would be the one minor flaw I have with the product. It would be nice to be able to have it stand up while trying to fill it. The other great thing about these bags is that you can remove all the air before closing them up which will prevent the paint from drying out. I tested by shaking the full bag upside down and it was leak-free. I feel the price point is fair for the product especially considering the costs of throwing out unusable paint left in cans.

This set came with 10 paint bags, 5 caps, and 2 collapsible funnels. The box had been partially crushed and taped, so I think 5 caps were lost in transit because there should have been 10.These 1 quart bags are truly leak proof. I tested one by scrunching it and folding it repeatedly then filling it with water and doing the same. The edges of the bag are sealed with a 1/2” seam and there was no leakage. The material won’t tear.When you screw the cap on until it clicks, it is locked shut. To remove it, you have to peel off the locking strip. Even when the locking strip was removed there was no leakage, so the caps can be reused, just be aware that they can then be easily unscrewed. I’m assuming they are still air tight as long as the cap is screwed on tightly.The clear window on both sides of the bag allow you to readily identify the color. On one side there is space to write all of the identifying information before storing the paint.The funnels are very soft and flexible as seen in my photos. I wouldn’t trust them not to tip and spill when handling paint, so I will use my own solid funnel.The price is reasonable and these are a great alternative to keeping small quantities of paint in the original can. I’m going to do some painting this fall and look forward to organizing leftover paint in these handy bags. They’ll look much neater on the shelves and take up less space. There is also a hole in the corner of each bag and on the funnels, if you prefer to hang everything instead of taking up shelf space.

We have been doing a fair bit of remodeling in our house this summer. That has been a part of roof that leaked and a tub that didn't want to be outdone that also leaked. Our county charges us per can to dispose of the cans if there is wet paint in the can. I'm thrilled to have found these paint bags as it is going to let us consolidate the paint down to the bags and let the cans air dry for free disposal. In doing so, this solves a major issue we have had. In Florida, storing the paint in the garage is very hard on the pain. Now, we can bring the paint inside the house for wall touch ups.The see through bags is a nice touch as we can see if the color has separated and even more important, easily make sure we have the right color. No more popping the can lid off to pour out a little bit of paint for touchup. These tight sealing bags are relatively easy to fill. Importantly, they are very easy to dispense. So, if you are a handy man around your own house, these are a great way to store paint for touchups.
