It has an industrial grade zipper so it’s great quality and should be long lasting. 2inch wide reflective strips are in several places on the vest to help with visibility on front and back. It's super important to have safety equipment like this high-visibility vest and bright flashlights/spotlights to ensure that other drivers can see you.I ordered the JKSafety vest in XL and it is true to size (based on most of my shirts and jackets being XL. The pockets are nice and a transparent pocket is included to display an ID, if needed.Overall, I'm happy with the quality, durability, fit, features and visibility of this safety vest.

XXLThis mesh, lightweight reflective safety vest doesn't weigh me down or overheat me. It has hook and loop sealing pockets and a clear upper pocket for a badge.The zipper pull has an extra link in the middle causing "hinging." I prefer the zipper having a direct single link attachment. Since this isn't really for the cold, though it's lightweight so could be worn over a warm jacket, I'd prefer a large zipper pull so I can find it without looking or using with gloves. I'm not saying I couldn't do that with this medium sized zipper pull, but as a next phase improvement, that's where I'd look for ultimate convenience. We're talking fine points here; it's practically a rounding error in the big picture of this vest.I show how wide it is lying flat while hanging. Seems huge as an XXL, but when I put it on as someone who is between an XL and an XXL, it fits great (pictures in mirror). If it were tight and restrictive that would be a deal breaker. If I were swimming in it because it's too large, also a deal breaker. This is the "Goldilocks" of reflective safety vests for me because it fits just right (6'2", 235-240 lbs).In terms of durability, it's mesh, so if you get on the ground and scoot under a car or climb under houses, it isn't durable for that over the long run. In full sun on the road, on the roof, or just attending to your own personal road or camping emergency night or day, it's great. I can also use this for high vis walking, jogging and cycling.Picture shows the 3M reflective tape works great too. It's a simple concept that simply performs.

This vest is very lightweight and breathable being made from polyester mesh. Being lightweight makes it comfortable to wear and allows it to be worn for extended periods. The color is a bright fluorescent yellow. The 2" wide 3M reflective stripes have high visibility reflection and are outlined with fluorescent orange trim. The entire vest is outlined with a silver reflective trim. The wide stripes run both vertically and horizontal on both the front and back of the vest.I ordered the vest in a "Large" size, and it fit me perfect. There are 4 spacious pockets in all on the front of the vest. The pockets use a Velcro patch on the flaps to keep the pockets covered, but the flaps pull open easily when I need to access inside. I like that the one pocket has a clear plastic front so you can see inside. The zipper is large and work effortlessly.Overall, the quality feels good, and given its high visibility, I'm hoping drivers will immediately see me. I am very pleased with the vest for the price.

I’m pretty tough on my workwear. My company issues a new vest every year, but I like to keep a backup or one dedicated for roadside use, especially in the winter. My work vehicle isn’t all-wheel drive or 4WD, so having one handy is important.When traveling over mountain passes is unavoidable and I can’t risk waiting in case the roads close, I try to get ahead of the chaos. I want to avoid the drivers slipping and sliding around before the roads are ultimately shut down due to traction issues and spinouts.When chain controls go into effect. Chain installations can get kinda sketch. Especially after sunset and before sunrise. Its better to be seen especially when bopping up and down from car side, while installing tire chains.As for this safety vest, I’m impressed with the quality. I’ve only been using it for a short time, but time will tell how well it holds up against UV exposure, daily wear, the work-related wear and tear, and all the dirt and grime in the months to come.The overall fit seems true to size, so ordering your usual size should work fine. If you plan to wear it over thicker outerwear like layered sweatshirts or a Carhartt-style jacket, keep that in mind. Compared to my work-issued safety vest, also an XL, this one feels a bit snug, my work vest, feels loose, and I practically swim in it. I can also wear my Carhart or warming layers.That said, the fit of this safety vest works well for me—it’s neither too tight nor overly loose.In a Sweatshirt or T-shirt, I usually wear between a large and an XL depending on the fit and style of the shirt. I chose an XL this time because I suspected it might run small, especially since my work-issued safety vest tends to run large.The appearance and fit are comfortable. It looks and feels durable, but time will tell. I really appreciate the abundance of pockets and their generous size—perfect for my notepads, phone, and small power bank.This is a solid purchase, offering great value in terms of quality, functionality, durability, and performance. Definitely worth considering. I have no reservations about recommending it, I would buy it again.
