These EVERHANGER garage shelves were pretty straightforward to install. Honestly, it took me longer to find the right socket than it did to actually get them mounted on the wall! I definitely recommend having a socket set, drill, and level on hand because those will make installation much easier. The included hardware is also good quality and seems very secure. For the most part, these shelves are sturdy, durable, and well designed. They feel like they can handle a good amount of weight and are a great way to get things up and off the garage floor. My only concern is that I’ve already noticed a couple of spots where the powder coating is bubbling and rust has started to form. That’s disappointing, especially for something intended for a garage environment. Aside from that issue, I’m happy with the design and overall sturdiness.

These shelves are a pretty good value for the money i think. They are good quality and very durable. They have some weight to them so it's strong and won't bend from things you put on it. The size is great it stretches just far enough for me and my stuff to store. It installs pretty easily as long as you make sure you found the stud or else it's coming down. Overall holds plenty of weight.

This wall-mounted storage rack is an absolute game changer for clearing clutter off the floor and maximizing vertical space in a garage, workshop, or utility shed. The heavy gauge metal grid feels exceptionally sturdy and rigid once anchored into the wall studs, holding bulky plastic storage totes, toolboxes, and seasonal gear with zero sagging or flexing. The powder-coated black finish looks sleek and clean on the wall while offering great scratch and rust resistance for long-term durability in tough workshop environments. The integrated hanging hooks along the bottom and sides add a fantastic layer of extra utility, making it super easy to hang folding chairs, extension cords, garden hoses, and power tools right underneath the main shelf. Installation is straightforward with the included hardware and clear layout, locking securely in place to provide dependable peace of mind. It is a rugged, well-engineered shelving solution that transforms messy spaces into organized, highly functional workstations.

These are pretty decent shelves by Everhanger. They are wirey, and lightweight, but sturdy. The brackets are thin but well made and secure. The shelves are powder coated, so should prove to be a durable finish. The shelves are easy to install First you need to find structure. Then you simply drill holes a little smaller than the included hex head bolts. You will need a socket set to screw into the structure. You also will need a level to make sure both brackets are well... level A bubble level and tape measure will prove handy with this step. Finally, connect the shelf to the bracket using the included nuts and bolts, and corresponding receiving slots. I was able to install only one of the two included shelves according to the directions. One of the shelves had a very small space to fit into (actually exactly 4 ft across). In order to mount using studs, I had to position the brackets in a way, that didn't line up with the receiving slots. I had to secure this shelf using zip ties, which worked. However, this made me realize these shelves come together in a very particular way. Additionally, these come with large hooks/hangers, which can come in handy for many things. The price of $86 (day of review) makes these a good value especially for 2 shelves. However, you will need the flexibility to mount these according to strict guidelines, unless you want to modify them like I did.

I was honestly surprised at how large and heavy‑duty this shelf system is once you get it out of the box. The steel feels solid, the welds look great, and it’s definitely built to hold real weight, not just look nice on the wall. The most difficult part of the whole project was simply deciding where to mount it because it’s such a substantial setup and you want to get the placement just right.Once I picked the spot, installation was straightforward and the shelves locked in tight. It instantly added a ton of usable storage space and made my garage feel more organized. I’m really impressed with how much it can hold and how stable it feels. If you need serious wall storage, this system delivers exactly what it promises.

These wall-mounted shelves have been a great way to get storage off the floor and make better use of the available wall space in the garage. The 2x4-foot shelves provide a good amount of usable surface area without sticking out excessively, and the metal construction feels substantially stronger than typical lightweight storage shelving.Installation is fairly straightforward with the right tools and a solid mounting surface. Once securely attached to the wall, the shelves feel stable and handle heavier storage bins, tools, and other garage items without noticeable flex. The included hooks are also useful for getting smaller items off the workbench or floor. The main thing to keep in mind is that the advertised weight capacity depends heavily on how and where the shelves are mounted. They need to be anchored properly into suitable framing or masonry rather than relying on weak drywall anchors. Assembly and installation also take a little time, particularly when working alone. Overall, though, these are sturdy, practical shelves that make excellent use of otherwise wasted wall space.

EVERHANGER Wall Mounted Garage Wall Shelves, 2 x 4 ft Metal Storage Shelves | Heavy Duty Wall Shelving with Hooks, Holds Up to 220 Lbs, BlackThe brackets on these are huge, and once bolted into studs with the supplied lag screws, they do feel like they can hold the weight as claimed. Although I didn't test them out by putting something 200 lbs on them, they seem legit. What I kind of wonder about, though, is the wire grid shelving pieces themselves. They just don't give me a lot of confidence in meeting that rating. I'm sure they are fine for the joy. If not, Amazon is going to get a bunch of returns for INAD.One weird thing about the wire shelves is how they skimped on boltholes for securing them to the brackets. Understand that each pair of brackets has TWO wire grid shelves in them, but only four bolts holding them to the brackets. Take a close look at the last photo (labeled SUITABLE FOR MULTIPLE SPACING) to see what I mean. I feel there should be a total of EIGHT bolt holes for holding the shelves down. I got ahold of four heavy-duty zip ties and used them to secure the wire grids to each other and the brackets. Probably not needed, but it 's enough to satisfy my OCD on matters like these.

The metal used to make the shells is very stiff. The wall brackets are extremely sturdy. The instructions are easy to follow with placement of the wall brackets on either 16 or 24 in spacing. The coating on the brackets in the shells is very thin and there are a lot of stuffed and skinned places where the coating has rubbed off. The shelves are made of stiff wire although they are strangely made. The long wires are made to bear the weight of the goods on the shelf rather than making the short wires the ones that are load-bearing. There is a ridge at each long side of the shelf that sticks up above the shelf wires making the surface more uneven than it would be if it were just wires. These shelves will require the addition of a flat surface such as plywood or OSB in order to be able to hold anything.
