this was exactly what I needed and way cheaper and more affordable than from the stores, it fit perfectly and was easy to install, the look and appearance were on point. it was easily compatible with a second plug in the lower outlet and didnt block it and also gave me an extra plug. the isntructions were easy to follow and the quality and durability or the cord is thicker than any cord or extension cable ive used before

I got this in Wall Cable Management Kit 2 AC TV Outlet Wall Kit 7.8ft Cord Power Relocation in Wall Outlet Extender for Living Room Bedroom and Home Theater for living room TV. I wanted to install my TV without any cords showing and this was the easiest and least expensive way to do so. It was very easy to install and it is very well made. The quality of the outlet is really good and it's the perfect size to go behind a TV. For the price, this is a great deal and I would highly recommend it!

This in wall receptacle relocation kit is nice for moving an outlet up through a wall space. This is also allowed by some electrical codes to diy this type of kit and save money on the electrician. You will want to confirm this before purchasing the kit though if you are here looking at them then maybe you already have. The kit comes with what is essentially just a receptacle on an extension cord that you run through the inside of the wall with a brush wall plate and a flush mount bracket you mount directly to the wall. Not much to it it just works and fits nicely to the Sheetrock. You do need to be careful not to strip the screws or overtighten the flappers on the mounts as this can break the mount or the box forcing you to run to the big box store for a replacement. Works as intended and is in use behind a wall mounted tv currently. Would recommend.

Our house does not have enough outlets. It was built in 1978, back when we didn't have as many electric things laying around the house.There are no nearby outlets near our bi-folding door closet, so I had to run a cord along the floor from the side wall, and then worry about the outer insulation being eventually abraded by the door bottom. This was to plug in all the network stuff for GFiber. (Our old house had a nice metal box in the master closet - this house has nothing like that, sadly.)There are outlets on the opposite side of the wall in the living room. I suppose I could have gone the route of getting the retrofit box from Home Depot and running a wire inside the wall to the outlet, but then I'd have to buy a box of wire too, and shut off the power. As it is, the TV is blocking that wall, so this works nicely.I run the plug to the living room outlet, into the brush plate and then have the extension outlet inside the closet on the oppsite sheetrock side. I can now plug in all the network stuff and completely eliminate the extension cord running along side the wall.Quick solution that doesn't require shutting off the power.
