This is a great One-Stop shop for someone who is trying to wall mount a television set but does not have AE power outlet behind their TV, and also wants a clean look without wires dangling down the wall for either the power or the video source. If you are looking to wall mount a television set that doesn't have a power outlet on the wall, you can simply install this behind the TV above an existing power outlet and it will allow you to plug the TV in the wall with hidden wires running down in the wall space behind the sheetrock. You can also run signal cables if you have something like a satellite TV or cable box and need to run an HDMI from the television to the source that may be below it hidden in a cabinet or something. This basically has all of the items that you will need to even include the post construction bracket that you'll need after you cut the sheetrock. Would definitely recommend professionally installed audio video for the better part of a decade.

This is an easy way to have hidden wiring in an open frame wall for a wall mounted tv! This set includes an upper recess wall box with an attached 12' foot extension cord designed to be installed in an existing wall with no access to the back. The box uses standard outlets so upgrades could be made if needed. Templates are included for cutting the upper and the lower holes. Once the faceplate is centered in the hole its simple to tighten the screws, which allows the arms to contact the back of the drivewall, securing it in place. Simple to install and makes all your cables dissappear.Just a quick note. This system works best in interior, non insulated, open frame walls. Insulation and cripples between studs will complicate the insulation.A trick I like to use is to run a string between the openings before installing the plates with the length being 3 times the distance between the openings. Having the string available at the brushed opening allows me to pull an additional cable through at any time after installation. I secure it at both ends and tuck the rest inside the wall.
