These Halloween flame lights arrived protected well. I also appreciate that they include a spare bulb, which is a nice little extra to have on hand. The warm orange color looks really nice when the lights are on and gives them a fun Halloween atmosphere without being overwhelmingly bright.The flickering effect is a little more subtle than I expected, especially when looking at them from farther away, so they don't look quite as much like actual flames as I had hoped. That said, the warm glow still looks really nice and adds a spooky touch to my Halloween decorations. I'm happy with them overall!

It's nice and simple - just a string of light sockets with built-in flexible plastic hooks for easy, sturdy mounting without any extra hardware. There are settings, but that's too fancy for me. I just like the basic flickering - they are just bright enough and really tranquil to have on. These are really cool lights that actually look kind of realistic. I'm going to use them to make a fake campfire out of painted pool noodles and spray foam. I only have two...Not really complaints but more just comments. The color. These are very orange so they don't exactly look like real flame. The flickering is the only thing. Its very fast, more like a flashing than a flickering. Otherwise I really like them and they will work out well. They are easy to use, literally hang up and plug in. If they weren't so orange I think they would be great to even keep up in the house year round. Due to the color I'll only be using these for Halloween.

I have been collecting more outdoor Halloween decorations because the kids love when we decorate the house, and these lights add a completely different look than regular orange string lights. The purple and orange bulbs combined with the flickering flame effect give them that creepy old haunted-house feel.I especially like these around a porch, doorway or mixed in with other Halloween decorations rather than using them as the only lights. They're bright enough to add atmosphere but they don't make everything look like Christmas lights in Halloween colors.The 12-foot strand isn't huge, so definitely measure the area you're planning to use them first. For a porch railing, mantel or smaller section of the yard though, they're really fun and look especially good once it gets completely dark.

Very pleased with these and the only improvement would be LEDs for efficiency, though you'd lose some of the warmth you want for the purpose. Specifics:Packaging: packaging was excellent, with each individual bulb bubble wrapped, something I almost never see (really, almost never). So props to them for that.Look: it's a very nice realistic orange glow. It's a soft, warm glow and a muted orange which makes it more realistic and it really has a lovely effect. And the speed isn't too much, which is also nice. Some "candle" lights are so frenetic and these are not. They're great for Halloween, but honestly you could use them anytime in the fall for a nice seasonal glow.Strand: It's a good standalone length for enough of a visual or to wrap on a railing or from two sides of a canopy. And you can connect several which is good. There's also a nice useful length from the plug to where the lights begin, always a nice touch.Indoor/outdoor, so should feel good about putting them outside and bulbs seem nicely protected, sturdyvery satisfied
