This is a nice product, but I’m warning you. You do not want to use these in a situation where you need to reverse your ratchet direction, because you cannot. These do not have a little lever to change the ratcheting direction. You can easily find yourself in a situation where this type of ratchet can get stuck. If you are backing out a bolt and there is something in your way from removing said bolt. Other than that problem, these do have a nice smooth finish to them. The ratcheting action feels like it is quality made. The markings on them would be nicer if they were easier to read as the kind of blend in with the finish making them difficult to see sometimes especially outdoors in the sunlight. The included storage is a nice feature and is clearly marked out and feels like durable material. I ordered these in July of 2026 when they were priced at $79.99 which Is not bad for a set with these larger sizes. I just which you could change the ratchet direction.

I wanted a set or ratcheting wrenches that I could use around the house and on the car. The ratcheting ends are very nice and easy to use. There are 6 ratcheting wrenches that have a double head that are flexible. The sizes are marked and come in a nice carrying rollup bag for storage to protect the wrenches.

Anyone who works on cars knows that there is always that one bolt or nut that is in a tough to reach spot, such as that last bolt on top of the bell housing that you just cant quite reach with any of your wrenches and, if you do happen to get a wrench on it, you have no room to loosen or tighten it. This set makes that task easier.With the double jointed ends and the ratcheting action, these 12 point metric wrenches are a game changer for many difficult tasks. Sizes range from 8mm to 19mm, so just about any size you need will be covered.The wrenches are high quality with a 72 tooth ratchet, so that you don't need a wide swing if you are fighting a bolt or nut in a particularly tight spot and the jointed head allows you to clear that exhaust pipe that's blocking your progress.The price point is good for such quality wrenches that come in their own roll-up pouch. Having been a mechanic for a living, I can tell you that there are way more expensive wrench sets out there with some of those not being as good as these.

This is a very well-designed set of metric ratcheting wrenches. The six wrenches cover 8–19mm, with a working ratcheting box end on both ends, effectively giving you twelve wrench sizes.What really sets these apart is the double-jointed flex heads. They can be positioned in ways that a conventional flex-head wrench simply can't, making them especially useful when access is limited or other components are in the way. The heads adjust continuously rather than locking into a few preset positions, which I find useful for positioning the wrench exactly where it needs to be.The 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism requires only a small 5° movement to advance, which is excellent for cramped areas. Direction is changed by flipping the wrench over rather than using a selector lever. The extra-long handles also provide plenty of leverage when dealing with stubborn fasteners.Build quality is impressive. The wrenches have a smooth mirror-polished finish, clear laser-etched size markings, and are made from Chromium Vanadium alloy steel. The included tool roll is also a nice touch for keeping the set organized.My only real complaint is that I would love to see an SAE version of this set. Otherwise, these are versatile, high-quality wrenches that I expect to get a lot of use from. Very happy with the purchase.

I do most of my two vehicle repairs and maintenance, and just when I think that I have all the tools that I could possibly need, I see something that I have never seen before. Because of that, I ordered this 6-Piece Double Head Flexible Ratcheting Wrench Set, which comes with a hanging, roll-up pouch. This is made from hardened CR-V Steel with mirror chrome finish: Drop-forged from heat-treated Chrome Vanadium steel and features a 72-tooth ratchet mechanism, that needs only a 5-degree swing arc to engage. There are 6 wrenches with 12 metric sizes in a double-ended layout: 8 9, 10 11, 12 13, 14 15, 16 18,17 and 19mm. Each end is dual hinged, meaning, in tight spaces, a much better chance is possible to easily tighten, or loosen what is being worked on. While I didn't have a current repair to do, I did test out the wrenches on some tight, hard-to-reach places on my 2015 Nissan Rogue. For example, I've never had to replace the alternator, and that job made me decide to go to a mechanic's shop, if/when it would be needed. After testing these wrenches on the needed nuts, I would most likely decide to do the job myself. These have a high-quality look and feel to them, and I believe that they are a good value for the money.

This is a metric set of 6 double-ended double-flex-head ratcheting box end wrenches. The business ends of the wrenches have 12 point boxes. The Amazon description lists the head style as Torx. This is incorrect. These are not Torx wrenches. These wrenches ares for tightening and loosening hex nuts and hex bolt heads. The set covers all metric sizes from 8 to 19mm. Each wrench has a different size on each end as follows: 8 and 9mm, 10 and 11mm, 12 and 13mm, 14 and 15mm, 16 and 18mm, and 17 and 19mm. The ratchets work in only one direction. You turn the wrench over to reverse direction. The heads are double jointed, allowing the wrench to get into some places other wrenches may not fit. The wrenches are longer than standard box end wrenches. The smallest wrench is about 11 1/4 inch long. The biggest is about 19 3/8 inches long.One of Amazon’s illustrations claims “Satin Chrome Finish.” Not mine. Mine have a shiny chrome finish. The same illustration says “Stamped Size” referring to the label of the size of the wrench. I wish that were true. The sizes on mine are not stamped, but etched onto the wrench handles, and not deeply. There’s a manufacturer’s name also etched into the wrench. The quality of the finish, in my opinion, isn’t up to, say, the Icon brand of wrenches sold by Harbor Freight. But I have never seen double-flex-head ratchet wrenches from Harbor Freight, Snap-on, Tekton, Craftsman, Crescent, or any other of the big-name brands. All the double-flex head ratchet tools have brand names I’ve never heard as the subject of this review does. And I suspect all the ones available regardless of the name, roll off the same production line in China.The set comes in a tool roll. Each wrench has its own pocket, clearly marked with the size. It’s a very nice tool roll and closes with a Velcro tab. I suspect the roll will need to be wrapped with a cord, as the Velcro will eventually wear out. Not a big deal.I think this is a useful set to have around for the occasions where your everyday wrenches will not fit. The price is reasonable for what you’re buying. Since you’re getting your moneys worth, I give it 5 stars.

The wrenches are metric-sized from 8mm to 19mm inclusive. The wrenches are forged from Chromium Vanadium Alloy steel with a mirror-polished finished and laser-etched size markings next to each box-end wrench mechanism on both sides of the wrench. The name of the manufacturer (JU JIAN TEC) is also etched onto the beam of wrench on each side of the beam. The box-end wrench mechanisms are all a 72-tooth ratchet design. This means that the ratchet need only be rotated 5° around the center of rotation to engage the next ratchet tooth with the pawl thus allowing for motion to be accomplished in even the tightest of work conditions. This ratchet design does not incorporate a change lever to accomplish a directional change. Instead, the wrench simply needs to be flipped over to accomplish a directional change. The box-ends of these wrenches all incorporate a 12-point design for ease of attachment to the fastener being addressed. The set of wrenches is provided in a very nice tool roll with a hook & loop closure.The design of these wrenches includes three key special features and each are described below.72-Tooth Ratcheting Box-End DesignEach of these wrenches employs double-ended ratcheting box-end wrench design. Thus, on each end of the wrench is located a ratcheting box-end wrench. The box-end design incorporates a 12-point socket design mated to a 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism. The 72-tooth ratchet mechanism only requires a 5° motion around the center of rotation to allow the ratchet mechanism to advance to the next tooth thus allowing for very small motions to advance the movement of the fastener being addressed. This design does not include a directional change lever. Because of the flat design of this wrench, the wrench only needs to be turned over to change the direction of the wrench’s rotation.Double-Jointed Flex-HeadThese wrenches have a special double-jointed flex-head design that allows the wrench to be configured to operate in very tight and obstructed areas. Instead of having a single flexible joint next to the wrench head, which generally allow up to 180° of motion for the wrench head relative to the wrench handle, these wrenches have two flexible joints. Each if these flexible joints allow up to 180° of motion. These two joints allow for complex manipulation of the wrench head relative to the wrench handle and allow the wrench to be configured to be used in tight and congested work areas and to be configured to pass over the top of other fasteners and to work around complicated design features.Extra-Long BeamEach of these wrenches has an extra-long beam between the two wrench heads. This extra-long beam provides these wrenches with the ability to provide much more torque to the fastener being addressed for the same energy input. The additional torque potential gives the user the ability to break stuck fasteners free and to properly tighten fasteners without the user needing to strain excessively. Since torque (T) is defined as the force applied (F) multiplied by the distance (D) through which the force is applied (T = F x D), the greater the distance possible from the pivot point to where force is applied, the greater the torque applied actually is. So, the longer the wrench beam the greater the torque applied can be.As previously mentioned, these wrenches employ a 12-point design to interface with the fasteners. However, the 12-point design does not apply the wrench’s torque to the six (6) apex corners on the hex-pattern fasteners. Instead, the design of the 12-point interface applies the torque some distance away from the apex corners so that the possibility of rounding off the corners on the hex-pattern fasteners. While a six-point interface would further reduce the possibility of rounding off the corners on the hex-pattern fasteners, it would also reduce the ability of the wrench to easily and quickly interface with the fasteners. The design employed, while it is a compromise, is certainly less likely to cause damage to the fasteners.These wrenches are forged from Chromium Vanadium alloy steel. The Chromium Vanadium alloy steel is employed for its hardness, tensile strength, toughness, fine-grain structure of the steel, and finally, wear resistance. After the forging process, the steel forgings are finish-machined, heat treated, finish ground, and polished. These wrenches have a very nice mirror-polished chrome finish.It should be noted that many wrenches that utilize a flex-head design also employ a detent mechanism that allows three or four individual angle positions to be held on either side of the center position.
