This has been a fantastic upgrade from our old bathroom exhaust fan. I love having the fan, heater and light all built into one unit instead of needing separate fixtures. The heater puts out an impressive amount of warmth and heats the bathroom quickly.The fan does a great job clearing out steam and humidity and I like having multiple fan speeds instead of just on or off. The humidity sensor is another nice touch. The three different light temperatures are surprisingly useful too as you can go from a warmer, softer light to a much brighter light depending on what you're doing.The remote makes everything easy to control and the oscillating louver helps distribute the warm air around the room rather than blowing it in one spot. Overall, it looks modern, works well and combines several bathroom fixtures into one. Very happy with it and definitely recommend it!

Very nice features, different light settings, blower or exhaust, humidity sensor and can even blow air straight down on you after showering. Best thing, it inly require power no switch to wire up.

Been Using this for a month now. I'm getting used to navigating the different settings based on current environment. It felt complicated at first but easy now. Installing was a bit of a pain for me since my old air blower version had a much different mounting configuration. It's good that it remembers the last setting used when i turn it back on. For installation, I had to expand hole, then build wood frame around hole I just made. That was annoying, but After that issue, the install was easy including the electric line link-up. The airflow is great, I like having a cool breeze on me getting out shower, previous one just had me feeling swampy. If i need to i could easily redirect the air to the wall instead. Very versatile. The light levels are good, I like the dimmer versions usually and noise is decent level. Adds a bit more modern look to my bathroom. Happy with the upgrade!

This 160 cfm bathroom fan can service about a 150 sq ft space. It is setup as a remodel install. It does not contain any brackets nor a spot to tie the body to a joist. Instead, the body contain three clip and screw devices like you find on a "rework"/"old work" electrical box. After inserting the body into the drywall cutout, you tighten a screw which causes a clip to swing out and tighten a lip on the body up against the drywall.PROs:- Many nice features such as variable speed fan, variable light color and brightness, and humidity sensing and fan control- In theory, the "old work" approach of using the tightening clip is easy enough, even if it's new work.- the fan and housing seem to be of good quality. the metal is thick enough that it doesn't seem flimsy but isn't overly heavy.- The fan is quiet- Once the ceiling is prepped for the fan, install is not difficult.NEUTRALs:- the fan contains a pigtail wire and quick-connect clamps to connect to the 120V electrical. However, this will require an additional electrical box in which to house the connection. An alternative approach, if you have enough wire from your house's electrical, is to remove the light, and remove the four screws to expose where the pigtail attaches to the fan system (see image). The house romex wire can then be fed into the fan housing and replace the pigtail wire directly.- A downside of the screw and clip fastener approach is that if the fan housing rests right up against a joist, there is no way to use the clip and fastener on that side. You need about a 1" clearance for the clip to swing out.CONs:- The dimmest light (nightlight mode) is still quite bright in a bedroom with an adjoining bathroom- the screw and clip design (per instructions) requires a frame of wood around the cutout. This frame is not provided. The screw and clip allows for a recommended thickness of 1" (1.2" maximum). Considering that most drywall is 1/2"-5/8" thick, this means the frame should be no more than 3/8"-1/2" thick. Given the weight and vibration of the fan housing, I suspect, especially with older drywall, the clip could pull through the drywall without the frame to distribute the pressure. Other VivoHome kits that were meant as possible new work included a more complex bracket that spanned between joists and attached to hold the fan. So why not a simple 1/4" plastic frame to be included with this kit versus sending the owner off to find thin plywood?- Requires mounting a remote. No switch exists to put in place of typical light switches.NOTEs:- while the CONs above can be significant, there is so much variability in housing construction and the product is quality enough that it does not warrant reducing the stars.

This exhaust fan has a lot more features than a standard bathroom fan. The built-in humidity sensor is probably my favorite because it automatically helps remove excess moisture without constantly remembering to turn the fan on yourself.The integrated LED lighting is bright, and having multiple color temperature options lets you choose the lighting that best matches your bathroom. The remote control is another convenient addition, and the oscillating louver gives it a more modern feel than traditional fixed vents.The 160 CFM airflow should work well for larger bathrooms, and the DC motor operates noticeably quieter than many older fans. Overall, this feels like a well-designed upgrade that combines ventilation, lighting, and smart features into one unit.
