Easy assembly and fits post well,draw backs, it's rather thin so it cracks if you tighten screws to much and cap retaining bolts are non magnetic so if you drop it in the grass it's hard to find, also they don't have additional screws or cap retainers.

Having a post light is a great pleasure. I just redid my fence and added a post with wire and was waiting for the right light to add. Having a light with a power connection has made using my electric lawn tools, that much better. It's easy to install, the light is made very nice, strong material and great GFCI outlet. It's metal and glass, the light just works perfectly with the sensor. Great value for what you get.

Solid construction and very easy to install, just make sure the lamp post has the appropriate diameter to install the lamp. Installation takes about 10 minutes and it works great. It does not come with a bulb but it can use any regular incandescent and LED bulbs. The lamp features a covered 'weatherproof' GFCI outlet and the whole assembly is made of metal. The dawn/dusk is a nice feature but it cannot be bypassed without shutting down the entire lamp including the outlet.

Very Good Quality Lamp post replacement. We have had our current lamp since 1983 it was time to upgrade and improve the look as well. This fixture maintained the classic look of our home curb appeal while bringing the technology of the light into 2026. It was pretty easy to wire and the photo cell was hidden well. I choose this because of the extra outlets on the base, this is a bonus because we have wanted power on the post for holiday decorations and other lights on the lawn. This lamp is heavy duty and i think it could last for another 30 years. Its crustal clear and works like a charm. I'm so happy with the upgrade to our yard.

This comes in a Styrofoam fitted cardboard box.The item comes as two pieces. The GFCI outlet tube and the Post Light that fits on top.The Post light needs to be fitted using wire nuts and the screws to the post extension with the outlets.I found it was easier to do this part indoors first before venturing outside into the early July heat.The bottom of the GFCI extension fits onto an existing or newly implemented post.The supplied wire nuts are fairly small and will need to be changed if there are multiple wires to be connected to the GFCI wires with larger nuts.The assembly / installation of this extension is pretty easy, and I changed a post light in about 5 minutes.The only problem is I dropped one of the small black nuts holding the top onto the light and cannot find it in the grass. I always think it would be thoughtful to supply a spare in case of clumsiness like mine.As the GFCI piece is supplied separately in the box, it would be nice if they supplied this separately. I have other post lights in the yard where this piece would be useful, but I do not want to replace the whole light. At the time of writing the review I could not find this.Otherwise, a great addition to a normal post light that will prove to be very useful.
