With all the marketing around science-backed filtration, I expected a solid, heavy-duty fixture, so unboxing a lightweight plastic unit was a bit disappointing. The matte black finish looks sleek from a distance, but in my hands, the material feels basic and doesn't match the premium price point.On the functional side, it actually performs pretty well. The water pressure remains strong and satisfying despite going through the internal filter pod, and my skin feels noticeably less dry and tight after a few weeks of use. Installation was quick and hand-tightened onto my shower arm without any leaks. It gets three stars because the water quality and spray feel are solid, but the cheap plastic construction is hard to overlook at this cost.

The flow still felt comfortable too, which matters because a filter is not worth much if the shower itself becomes weak or annoying.I would still treat the filter as something that needs regular maintenance, but that is expected with this kind of setup. This is a nice choice if you want a better-looking showerhead that also adds filtration and makes the shower feel more refreshing.

Living in Arizona, the hard water and chloramine used to dry my hair, but having an MIT scientist behind the design convinced me to give VESL a shot. Hair feels noticeably softer. It looks sleek, has great water pressure, and as good as the pricier brands without the crazy markup.

Great shower head! The filter really does make the water feel "softer". The spray pattern offers generous coverage. Materials feel high quality. Couple things of note: the head looks like it has 200 holes for water to come out but upon a closer look it comes out of about half of them, the extra holes are probably to make the holes appear symmetrical. The spray pattern is also not adjustable, the strength of the water that comes out is about a 6.5/10 in intensity, just about perfect for me but some people may prefer a stronger stream.

Really like it - was thinking about some other more expensive models but decided to try this one. Their science seems like it would do a better job of filtering the water here in Arizona. Took one shower with it and it's really great - hair is noticeably less dry tonight. And the water pressure is great.

Sleek look with solid water pressure which I hear can be difficult with the added filter. Impressed by the feel of the water compared to my prior box box branded showerhead. I loke how the brand leaned into the science here, and I plan to get one for each of my bathrooms. Recommend.
