I ordered these because I make custom holsters and I wanted to see how they worked. These claws are awesome! You can adjust how far they push out by replacing or reversing the extension pads, or you can flip them around to make them left handed or right handed. The material is a strong plastic and the design is very rigid. That is important in a claw, because it has pressure put on it all day. This claw set comes with all of the hardware needed, including the long screws and long rubber washers. That means it can be used as part of the adjustable retention system, so it doesn’t add complexity or bulk to the holster design.Overall, I think these are a fantastic option for a wing if you make your own holsters or want to modify an existing holster. They are a great value and I would definitely order them again.

Seems like a great claw, but I can't use it with the holster I have. The holes don't quite line up which is unfortunate. I was hoping to replace the one I have installed currently because it has a single mounting point and isn't as sturdy as I want it to be. Oh well, guess I'll just have to get a new holster 🤷What I can say about this claw is that its very rigid and would undoubtedly stay in place if put on a compatible holster. There are two different interchangeable tips depending on how much you want to push the holster back which is really nice, and a ton of different bits of hardware to really customize the feel of your setup. Comparing to the PoleCraft one I have now, the biggest difference besides the single vs double screw mounting, is my current one slides to adjust height which I really like, and this one does not. Something to consider for future iterations, maybe. As disappointing as it was that it did not match up with the holster I have now, the product itself is not disappointing at all. Center to center the holes are 5/8 inch apart. Just a reference for someone else thinking about it.

This holster claw kit is an exceptional option for anyone who crafts their own custom Kydex holsters. The included hardware is high-quality and makes it incredibly straightforward to accurately mark a new holster layout and drill the necessary attachment holes. One of the best features is its true ambidextrous design—the ability to configure it for either a left- or right-handed draw is a massive bonus when you are building bespoke, custom gear. I opted to install the larger attachment on mine, and it works flawlessly. It tucks the grip in perfectly and has successfully reduced printing to absolutely nothing. Highly recommend for DIY builders looking for reliable concealment wings.

I bought this claw kit to upgrade one of my IWB holster, and it worked exactly as I had hoped. Everything needed for the installation was included, and it only took a few minutes to get it mounted. The claw does a good job of pulling the grip of the handgun in closer to my body, which noticeably reduces printing when carrying inside the waistband. It's a simple modification, but it makes a difference in both concealment and comfort. The hardware feels well made, and I like that the kit comes with enough parts for two holsters. Having the extra hardware on hand is a nice bonus if you carry more than one setup.I'm happy with this purchase. It's an inexpensive upgrade that improved the performance of my holster, and I'd have no problem recommending it to anyone looking to improve concealment.

This item overall seems like a good value at the $9.99 price point, when compared to other similar products. It also seems well made for it's intended function, while the main body is plastic, it's definitely a tough, durable feeling plastic with very little discernible flex, and seems strong enough to place a good amount of torque against your belt without bending. One major disclaimer here is to definitely double check to make sure this is compatible with your holster, as there are definitely situations where it might seem compatible initially, but doesn't quite work as expected, one example of this would be my Tenicor certum 4 holster for sig p365, while this initially looks like it will line up with the 5/8" spacing on two areas of the holster, the only one which would make any sense would be to place this on the area which is used to adjust tension on holster retention, which would work, except that on the side it would need to sit there is a bulge on the outside of the kydex on the holster which interferes somewhat with the straight edge design of the Modwing. I could definitely modify the modwing in order to make it work, but it's not compatible out of the box, so I'd recommend looking very closely at your holster design, and the design of the modwing, and preplanning how you intend to attach the two before purchase. Another thing that I am not a huge fan of with this modwing, is that they opted not to use a stable design for the risers which press against the belt, in my opinion that was a missed opportunity to provide a greater level of customization than how it currently sits, with very little extra effort needing to go into manufacturing to accomplish it, as it sits you only have two adjustment levels for riser height, so if neither one of those works you'll need to buy something else, or again begin customizing the product, which is not ideal for every scenario. All of that said, if you have a holster which is compatible out of the box, this product itself seems like a good value and definitely strong enough to perform it's function, no issues recommending it at the $9.99 price point.

I picked up this Modwing Holster Claw Kit for one of my Kydex holsters, and I'm really impressed with the quality. Everything needed for installation was included, and it only took a few minutes to get it mounted. The claw noticeably improved concealment by pulling the grip closer to my body, which helped reduce printing without sacrificing comfort. The hardware feels sturdy, and having two complete kits in the pack is a great value, especially if you have multiple holsters or want a spare.Overall, this is a simple, well-made upgrade that works exactly as advertised. If you're looking to improve the concealment of your IWB holster, this kit is definitely worth picking up.

This is my review of the Firaim Modwing IWB Holster Claw Kit Left/Right Hand | Concealment wing for kydex holsters. Reduces printing, improves comfort, Includes full hardware for easy installation. This is a holster attachment that pushes against your belt to snug the grip of the gun against your body. This is made of study plastic and contains all the hardware needed to install. Putting it on the holster was easy. I just removed the holster retention screws and attached the claw with the included longer screws. For my particular installation, I made use of the extra spacers included. The claw also has two sizes of standoffs to customize the installation for your particular use. The standoff has the added benefit of also gripping the waist of my pants, provided extra retention when drawing. This is a great addition for your holster. It helps keep the weapon better concealed, by pushing the grip closer to your body. This doesn’t affect the draw at all, either. You can keep it concealed, yet easily reach it when necessary.
