No instructions?

[Color: Deep Black]
Would have given a 5 star but the product came with no instructions and I had to figure out what app to use. This was frustrating. The product itself looks great.

[Color: Matte Black, Color: Matte Black]
Very happy with this smart door lock! It was easy to install and set up. The fingerprint reader works quickly and accurately, and the lock feels sturdy and well made. It’s very convenient for everyday use and I don’t have to worry about carrying keys anymore. Great value for the price. Highly recommend!

fingerprint lock works fine but setup took longer than expected

I installed this on my apartment door about a week ago. The fingerprint reader itself is pretty solid, picks up my finger consistently without much fussing around. The build feels decent, nothing cheap about it. Silver finish looks clean on the door. The actual installation was more involved than I thought it would be. I'm comfortable with tech stuff but the instructions weren't super clear on how to remove the old knob and fit this one in. Took me about 45 minutes when I figured it would be 15. Make sure you have the right tools before starting. The app works okay. You can lock and unlock remotely, which is handy when I need to let someone in. The interface is straightforward enough, nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Connection is usually pretty fast.Battery life seems solid so far. I haven't had to replace the batteries yet and it's been running for a couple weeks. The lock tells you when the battery is getting low through the app, which is useful.Fingerprint recognition is reliable. It reads my thumb on the first try most of the time. I registered a few different fingers just in case and they all work. No weird lag or anything. One thing to note is it doesn't work super well if my hands are wet, but that's pretty normal for these types of readers.Overall it does what it's supposed to do. Not the easiest to install but once it's set up it's convenient to not carry a key around.

Basic screwdriver was all the install needed

Took the old handle off and put this biometric door lock in its place with nothing more than a regular screwdriver. The outer and inner pieces lined up once both UP marks faced the ceiling and the spindle sat vertical in the middle. A small extra push seated the back plate and the whole smart door knob felt tight right away. I enrolled two fingerprints and one keypad password before testing the swing of the door a few times. App-controlled menu let me set the auto-lock delay and turn on the unlock record so every entry gets logged. Keyless entry removed the need to keep any spare key under the mat or in a drawer.Sensor response stays consistent once the prints are saved and the angle of the handle matches the natural reach from either side of the frame. Emergency spare key went into a small box on the shelf for the day the battery warning finally appears. The unit fits the door thickness without any extra plates or shims of any kind.Power display stays bright enough on the inside that a quick glance tells me the charge level before I leave the room. Dual management of print and code means I can hand a temporary password to a neighbor if I ever need someone to check on the place while I am out. Everything about the install stayed simple and the door now opens the way I expect every single time I walk up.

Work room stays private with mixed unlock paths

Mounted this fingerprint door lock on the door to the room I use for work and sleep and the mix of methods settled into a steady routine. Fingerprint handles the quick in-and-out trips during the day while the keypad password covers the times my hands are full with papers or a mug. App control sits open on my phone so I can review the log or change a code without walking across the floor. The smart door knob keeps the classic outer look so nothing on the hallway side looks different from the other doors. Keyless entry means the old key ring no longer lives in my pocket all day long.Biometric enrollment held four different prints without trouble and each one reads clean from the angle I naturally reach. Emergency spare key rests inside a drawer across the hall for the single case the power drops lower than expected. Installation needed only the usual screws and the adjustment arrow pointed to center before the final push locked everything in place.Visual battery indicator sits where I see it every time the door closes so charging happens before the low-power tone ever starts. Access modes through the app let me switch between open and secure settings depending on whether the rest of the place is empty or not. The whole setup keeps that one room under tight control without adding any extra steps to the daily pattern I already follow.

Four unlock methods cover every daily situation

Put the biometric door lock on the main interior door and the four different ways to open it covered every situation that comes up around here. Fingerprint takes care of the normal walk-through moments when my hands are free. Keypad password works when gloves or bags get in the way of a clean scan. App control lets me unlock from the other end of the place if someone is waiting outside with arms full. Emergency spare key stays hidden for the rare power situation that might show up. The smart door knob itself looks and feels like any other handle yet carries all those options inside the same unit. Keyless entry removed the last physical key from the daily routine completely.Biometric enrollment held four different prints without any repeat tries and each one reads clean from the usual standing angle. Dual management through the app shows the full unlock history and lets me delete a code the moment it is no longer needed for anyone. The unit sits on a door in the normal thickness range and the UP marks made the alignment obvious during the screw-down process.Power display and low-power warning give enough notice that the battery never becomes a surprise in the middle of the day. Auto-lock timer can be set so the door closes itself after a short wait once the handle is released. Security lock mode through the app keeps everything sealed when the place needs to stay quiet for a stretch. The combination of methods means the door stays useful no matter what the hands are doing or where the phone happens to be at that moment.
