I installed this bracket kit to mount an automatic gate opener onto a leftover chainlink fence post from the previous owner, and it works well. The contoured clamp halves wrap around the pipe cleanly, and once the fasteners are torqued down, there's no rotational slip or sliding down the tubing the way I've had happen with brackets that aren't designed for round posts. No welding or drilling was needed, so the gate stayed intact and installation went quickly.The included hardware covers everything needed, so there was no extra trip to the store for bolts or washers. The multi-hole pivot tab lets you adjust the mounting angle so the actuator arm can move through its full range without binding against the gate post, which made getting the geometry right a lot easier than I expected. Once tightened down, the whole assembly feels rigid with no play or wobble.

How I wish I had these years ago. When I installed my gate opener on my tube gate I used what came out of the box. It bent my tube gate something fierce. It worked...but, tightening it warped my gate.This right here was perfect. I do wish the video had walked through the installation process. The 6th image was the most descriptive on how to get it to work.The brackets themselves came with no instructions.Installation was a snap and isn't putting nearly as much pressure on my gate now.
