I really like the versatility of this light fixture. Being able to install it as either a hanging chandelier or a flush mount makes it a great option for different ceiling heights and room layouts. I ended up using it as a hanging fixture, and the adjustable rods made it easy to get the height where I wanted it.The matte black finish looks modern and stylish, while the textured glass shades add a little extra character and keep it from looking too plain. With four clear shades, it gives off plenty of light and has a really nice look over our dining table.Installation was fairly straightforward, and I appreciated that it came with all the mounting hardware, a clear instruction manual, and even gloves for handling the glass shades. While it's marketed for dining rooms and kitchen islands, I could also see it looking great in a laundry room, entryway, foyer, hallway, or other areas where you want a stylish light fixture without overwhelming the space.The quality of the materials seems very good, and the fixture feels sturdy and well made. Once everything was assembled, I was very happy with the final appearance.The reason for four stars is that we ran into a couple of issues during installation. The glass pieces don't sit perfectly evenly, although that could very well be user error or an installation issue on our end. We were also missing the shortest downrod, which limited some of our installation options and was a little frustrating.Despite those minor issues, the finished product looks beautiful and feels like a quality fixture. If you're looking for an attractive, versatile light that makes a statement without breaking the budget, this is a great choice.
