I really like this light now that it installed. However, it took me and a partner over two hours to install it, and I have installed many ceiling lights and ceiling fans over the years. The wires are short and the housing is long, which made connecting the wires and maneuvering the light into place problematic. If you get this light you will want to be sure to cut the zip tie on the wires to the controller so you can disconnect its wire connector. That helps with the first part of the installation to connect the wires, however the base plate still makes it a challenge to route the wires and wire nuts through small openings. Once I had done that I needed a second person on a second ladder to hold the lamp up close to the ceiling while I connected the controller plug back together and corralled the wiring out of harm's way, then attempted to place the housing to line up with the holes in the bracket. That was more difficult than it sounds, and I found I needed some neck contortions and a long screwdriver to line up and install the two end screws. Once we finally got the housing lined up and all four screws installed, we were happy with the results with just a few caveats. The housing is narrow enough that it left a small gap visible into the ceiling box on one side, which I may wind up patching with spackle later. The controller was easy to pair with the lamp per the instructions once I put in two AAA batteries (not supplied), and it works well, but I cannot figure out what the Auxiliary lamp button does. I'm assuming it is probably intended to separately control the linear border lighting, but it shows no response to my actions. All the other buttons do what they should for brightness, color temperature, etc. One last thing: The lamp does not remember its settings when turned on and off with the wall switch. Each time it is turned on and off it changes the color temperature. I suppose you could consider this a feature, not a fault, if you would like to change the color temperature without using the remote, but I would just like it to stay in the daylight temperature range all the time. Now that it is done we like the extra light.

Modern, Bright, and Very VersatileThis ceiling light has such a clean, modern look and really updates the whole room. The slim linear design feels sleek without being too bulky, and I love that it provides plenty of light while still looking decorative. The three adjustable spotlights are a great feature because they let you direct extra light exactly where you need it.The dimming and adjustable color temperature options make it easy to change the feel of the room depending on the time of day. I like being able to go from a warmer, softer light to a brighter cooler light, and the included remote makes all of the adjustments really convenient. The 80W output gives off a nice amount of light for a larger space.Overall, this is a great choice for a kitchen, dining room, bedroom, office, or other modern space. It combines everyday functionality with a really stylish design, and the adjustable spotlights and remote give it much more versatility than a basic ceiling fixture. Very happy with the look and performance.

I installed this 41 inch linear ceiling light in my Waikiki condo and immediately appreciated how well it performs once the main bar comes alive and those three directional spotlights start doing their thing. The spotlights are honestly the standout feature because they add focused beams to a fixture that normally only gives broad wash lighting, and being able to rotate them 355 degrees and tilt them up and down makes it easy to highlight artwork, brighten a reading corner or aim light toward the kitchen counter. The functionality is excellent because the remote handles smooth dimming from ten to one hundred percent, the color temperature shifts cleanly from warm to cool and the memory function keeps my preferred settings locked in. Usefulness is high whether I’m lighting the dining area, the hallway or the living room since the combination of linear glow and adjustable spot beams gives me far more control than a standard flush mount. My British Retriever likes them in her own way because she always settles under the warm setting and seems soothed by the gentle glow instead of brighter overhead fixtures. Accuracy is solid because the dimensions, rotation angles and lighting behavior match the published specifications, and installation is straightforward thanks to the preassembled body. For the money, the value is strong since it delivers adjustable lighting, energy efficiency, long LED life and those three spotlights that make the whole fixture feel more premium and versatile.

I really like the look of this ceiling light. It has a nice modern style and puts out plenty of light for my kitchen. The long bar and adjustable spotlights give good coverage, and I can point the lights where I need them. The remote is also handy for changing the color from warm to cool and adjusting the brightness without getting up. Installation was prety straightforward, and once it’s installed, it feels solid and well made. My only complaint is that it doesn’t remember the last light setting after I turn it off from the wall switch. I really wish it would keep the previous brightness and color setting instead of having to adjust it again each time.

This ceiling light has a really attractive modern design that would work nicely in a kitchen, dining room, bedroom, or office. I especially like the long 41-inch linear shape combined with the three adjustable spotlights, which gives it a much more interesting look than a standard ceiling fixture. The dimmable lighting and adjustable 3000K–6000K color temperature provide plenty of flexibility for different rooms and moods. Having a remote control is another convenient feature, especially when you want to make lighting adjustments without using the wall switch. The clean white finish keeps the fixture looking contemporary without being overly flashy. Overall, it's a stylish and versatile ceiling light with a nice combination of general lighting and directional spotlights.
