This is a nice inch pound torque wrench. The only thing I don’t like is the granularity as far as the exact setting I had something that called for an 89 inch pound setting. I could either set it for 88 or 90. I cannot get the odd number. It will not lock in on that value. Other than that it works great.

I have used a larger half-inch torque wrench for years, mostly for automotive work like wheels, brakes and suspension. But I’ve been wanting a smaller torque wrench and now I have one.This wrench very compact, and has a good torque range for smaller fasteners, bikes, sporting goods, etc. It’s easy to use. Just pull the lock sleeve down toward the handle and twist the shaft to increase or decrease the torque value. The locking sleeve is spring loaded, so the toque setting locks in when you release it. The operation of the wrench feels good. There’s no excessive looseness in ratchet mechanism, and the ratchet mechanism has a release button the back to make it easy to release the socket. The wrench comes in a nice plastic case that I think is above average as far as the thickness of the plastic and durable feel. A calibration sheet is included in the case.I tested the wrench by clamping a 1/4x20 bolt in a vice and applying 100 in-lb torque. Pulling at the very end of the handle (about 9 inches from the socket), I can believe the the wrench clicked at about 11 lbs of pull (i.e., 99 in-lbs). It’s not a scientific test at all, but gives some confidence that the wrench is at least in the right ballpark for torque values.Overall, I’m quite happy with this wrench. It feels well made, works well, and comes with a nice case.

I've been using the same torque wrench I bought from sears maybe 25 years ago? I came across the VANPO 3/8" a while back and liked it so much, I decided to add this 1/4" to my collection. These have a MUCH higher tooth count than my old one, (and a quick release for sockets!) but really the one thing I like the best is the collar lock. My old one required twisting the handle to lock in the setting and I swear it would never completely lock. This one, just pull the collar back, set torque, release the collar and it's locked. These are also a TON easier to read with white on black as opposed to my stamped numbers on chrome. My eyes appreciate it a ton! Both of my wrenches came in a nice case which keeps them clean and looking new, (I'm a stickler for clean tools and treating them right.) I have zero complaints and now I'm eyeing one of the digital models. Good stuff VANPO!
