I'm 77, have macular degeneration And cataracts. I use this magnifying light every night to read my bible. I can even take my glasses off and read with it. Definitely i like the light that it's shines on whatever I am doing. All the different types of light, all the different brightnesses of the light and the fact that I can hook it to the Small table next to my chair are all great things to be able to have and do. It is very sturdy and will adjust to so many different situations and angles. Putting light exactly where you need it can make your life more enjoyable. Highly recommended. Jim

My artwork calls for a lot of precision work. Most of the time, I just use this device as general illumination that can be positioned directly over a specific area. Other times I use the magnifier lens for really close work.I especially like that the built-in light can produce multiple types of light, so I can choose the approximate color temperature that is best for my current project. For all it does, this magnifier/light is a very good value.

Not only is this item pleasing to the eye, it is also design and built well. The material of which this item is built with looks and feels like really good quality material was used. The controls for the lighting are located well and are very intuitive to use. I LOVE IT. I highly recommend this product...nice job HITTI, keep up the good work!! I forgot to say something about the glass in the magnifier. I love it! It is clear, very clear! see pic below. I will be using it mainly for small/tiny electronic repairs and design electronic projects.

I love the extra arm length as it affords you more flexibility than most 2 arm lamps. It's bright, the magnification is great, and the color temp options are handy depending on what I'm working on. My only ding is that it's not very robust and I feel like I'm going to break it eventually. The joints are flimsy and the plates flex such that they aren't parallel when tweaked, so there's more resistance at one end of the arc than the other on the top joint. All that said... I'm happy with it and I'd buy it again as I couldn't find anything similar at this price point. I'd pay twice as much if I knew it was much more robust.
