This shower filter is great for sensitive skin. Eversince I installed this in our shower my family and I have noticed a big change in how our skin and hair feels. This filter provides high efficiency dechlorination, hard water neutralization and toxic metal reduction. It softens the water so our skin and hair feel softer, it has minimized skin rash and dryness, our hair feels much softer, easier to style and more manageable. This great quality shower filter is super easy and fast to install, comes with instructions and no tools needed. It has good water flow and last about 6 months. Good value for the price!

This Solicozy Pro shower filter was easy enough to add without turning the bathroom into a plumbing project, and I like that it sits between the shower arm and shower head without looking ridiculously bulky.The 25 stage filter is meant to reduce chlorine and other stuff in hard water, and the high flow design matters because I am not interested in improving my shower water by making the shower itself disappointing. The housing feels sturdy, and the universal fit makes it practical if I want to swap shower heads later.The only mildly annoying part is that anything labeled “25 stage” immediately makes me feel like my shower water has been through more interviews than I have.For hard water, this seems like a worthwhile upgrade.

It fits standard shower arms. No special tools are needed for installation. I could feel the difference during my 1st shower. I needed less products. My hair and skin were easier to rinse. Both my hair and skin were softer after my shower. I needed less lotion after my shower. Even my toenails showed improvement. I've always had dry skin, but it's gotten worse as I've aged. I honestly never thought that by simply using a filter on my shower that I could see and feel improvement on my dry skin and nails. The only issue that I have with this filter is that there isn't a way to know when the filter needs to be changed. It's supposed to last 180 days. I'm unsure if that's according to 1 shower a day or 2 showers a day. I will have to set a reminder on my phone to swap it out for a new one. I'm hoping that I will be able to feel a difference as it approaches time to change the filter. Overall, as for now, I am satisfied with this filter. So we have hard water hear and while we are looking for a whole home solution here in the coming months we needed something now. As I get older my skin is getting more sensitive by the year especially when showering. With hard water no matter how much shampooing and conditioner I use my hair still feels rough. I decided to give this a try. Now this filter has some weight to it now it’s not ridiculously heavy but it does have some weight to it. I got the chrome finished filter and it’s very nice looking and matches my shower pipe and shower head really well. Now installing this is super easy to do you just take off your existing shower head and screw this filter onto the pipe coming out of the wall and then the other end of the filter goes right to the shower head. They even included the teflon tape so you can wrap the threads with it to help prevent leaks or drips. I used a single layer of teflon tape on the thread and just screwed the filter on. Now you don’t have to tighten this down extremely tight I got it snug by hand and took a pair of slip joint pliers with a piece of cloth to protect the chrome finish of the filter and gave it about 1/2 turn and then turned the shower on to check for leaks. There was no leaks and shower head still flowed like normal with no signs of water restriction whatsoever. After using this I did feel a bit cleaner as before installing this I always felt like I still had some soap residue on me still but I didn’t feel that way after this was installed. There was no odd smells after this was installed either the water is clear with good even flow. Overall I am very pleased with how well this filter has worked it’s easy to install and looks good and doesn’t restrict my water flow and I couldn’t be happier.

I really like my showerhead so was excited to try this filter. It was very easy to install. My first attempt, I did not have the plumbers tape wrapped nicely around the Threads and it leaked. However, that was user error because the second time when I paid more attention, it did not leak.The filter canister seems to be a nice weight and quality built. I am a snob about water pressure and I am very happy to say that this did not affect the pressure of the shower.I did feel like the water was a bit softer and the soap, leather, better than usual. One of the main things I noticed is that my skin was not squeaky clean. Which Squeaky clean is a false statement because that feeling is caused by the hard water combining with the soap and not completely rinsing off. So it actually clogs your pores.I live in Texas, where the water is very hard so I am excited to see if this filter makes any difference for my skin and hair.I’m not exactly sure how long these filters last or when you are supposed to know when to change them. The overall value depends on the longevity of the filter. - however, I cannot speak to that yet. I do believe for $30 This is a nicely built product that was incredibly easy to install.

The city often treats our water supply with chloramine, and the smell really bothers me. Showering right after it's added used to leave my skin feeling itchy, and while skipping showers might solve that problem temporarily, it isn't exactly a practical solution.I installed this filter myself on a standard shower head. I used the included plumber's tape winding it in the direction of the thread, and didn't have any leaks. It came with a few extra gaskets, but I didn't need to use them. I let the water run through the filter for a few minutes before getting in.The filter does make my shower head sit slightly lower, but my shower head was already mounted unusually high, so I actually prefer it. It has not affected the water pressure or flow at all. The water still feels like normal clean shower water.Since installing it, I haven't noticed the chloramine smell anymore, and my skin feels normal after showering. The filter didn't add any strange smells, textures, or anything noticeable to the water. It just feels and smells like clean water.The biggest benefit has honestly been the peace of mind. I can enjoy my showers without thinking about the water smell or whether I need to avoid showering at certain times. It's been a few weeks now, and I've basically forgotten it's even there, not because it isn't making a difference, but because it has brought me back to my regular routine.Definitely worth it for anyone bothered by the smell of treated city water.

This is a multi-layer universal filter that was attached before my 6-inch Rainfall ShowerheadWhile chlorine is not a concern since well water is the source, the claim to improve hard water quality is of interest. Since the water flow through the filter is fast, there is little contact time should any of the filter beads have some effect.For those that use chlorinated municipal water, an up-close smell test comparison between the sink tap water and output from this filter is possible. In many cases there is enough chlorine that any filtering should be noticeable.While multiple claims are alluded to with this product, it appears the main removal design is for chlorine. The claim of 99+% removal is published. The KDF-55 and the Calcium Sulfite portion should remove chlorine with some vigor. The Copper and Zinc properties of KDF-55 may also impart some antimicrobial effects. So that may be where the main value of this universal filter rests. In my case chlorine removal has no value.Back to dissolved minerals or hardness, I did check the immediate water output with the Water Hardness Test Strips reviewed recently. The result showed no difference from the hard tap water check without filter. Hard water alteration from such a small filtration zone dedicated to various other purposes is a no go so minus one star for that claim.The other claims related to this filter (Relief, Skin Comfort for example) cannot be verified. So, one other avenue shall be explored since other family members use that shower periodically. When they notice the filter and rainfall showerhead, I will tell them that is an Amazing & Wonderful Filter and no more. Then I shall wait to hear of any Placebo effect, a real dimension routinely measured in the pharma/medical realm.I will leave the unit in place to learn of any other subtle benefits. Who knows, Relief may come in the form of Washing my cares away for that day. Different water sources may produce different results.
