This drill bit set has been very handy to have around. The variety of sizes is great, and it covers a lot of everyday projects without having to search for another bit, as a matter a fact, i was just able to fix my glasses since the tiny screw fell off and wasnt able to do it by hand only. All sizes seem to drill cleanly and hold up well on different materials, I also like that the bits feel precise and easy to control, so they don’t wander as much when starting a hole. Overall, it’s a practical set with plenty of options, and it feels like a solid value for anyone who works on projects often like myself. Now my one and only concern is that I think it should have a handle to tight them up manually when a drill is not at hand, not a big deal for me since im at all times at work usually with 2 drills, but for small jobs that could be very useful.

These are a great set of bits for generic or diy projects. I got them because i often need small pilot bits, due to breakage. I can't speak to their effectiveness in hardened metals, but for wood and pvc, they work exactly as they should. I haven't been hard on them, but so far so good. Ive had nothing break out of the box. The case is more than i expected. Nothing amazing, but it works well and keeps the large quantity of bits organized, nicely. They cut very quickly and disburse material well. A good value, based on quantity, cutting ability and storage.

The first two I used broke on me. But to be fair, I was trying to widen the hole I made because the drawer handle was just a hair off and I couldn't get it to connect. But, even then, steel should not just snap...and I'm female and not a brut, it was just a lean into the side when this happened. When I used the 3rrd one for the next hole, it was located correct so there was no 'side widening' to do and the bit was fine. I just don't see it as a set for heavy duty work, wasn't pushing that hard for it to snap. I compared the bits to my husband's expensive set. The expensive bits were smooth if you slid your finger across the lengthy side. With these, they were a bit rougher to the touch, but that does not really matter, it was just comparing the finish to the premium brands. If you are doing very simple stuff, nothing heavy duty or a huge project like building a deck or something, this is fine for small one-off projects. I would not take these to the job site and expect them to last like premium brands.

This Boltly 60pc Drill Bit Set comes exactly as it says. It is a good starter set except for one glaring issue. While all US standard sizes are represented, all of the extra bits are just 'in between' sizes that aren't necessarily needed. While the variety of sizes are extremely versaitile, the largest bit that comes in this set is .228", which is very small. The average user will need to buy a drill bit set with much larger sizes to be a fully functional set, which they actually have an option to be purchased as a sister set to these, but will ultimately double the price for a pretty good set with many potentially unused pieces.As for the set itself, it is well made and durable. The few bits I did use held up. The small ones did well under pressure. They are held in a durable metal case and will sit well in your tool box. Overall a nice small sized starter set with the average user not needing 75% of the sizes.

This Boltly 60-Piece Cobalt Drill Bit Set is a good value. The measurements are listed in metric but in English units, the set has an array of sizes ranging from just under a quarter of an inch, all the way down to needle-thin bits for detailed work. I used my micrometer to measure the thickest bit at 15/64ths of an inch. The thinnest one is about as thin as a drill bit can get (see photo). The bits fit neatly into their metal case and although each slot is numbered, the numbers do not indicate the actual bit size. The case is worth noting in that it is metal and has a practical, tiered design that unfolds to display the bits and also stores them so they won’t easily fall out. The set includes several very small, needle-fine bits which are so thin that they’re too narrow for the jaws of my DeWalt 20v driver and require a smaller drill or Dremel tool (see photo). That’s not a bad thing. It’s always helpful to have a few needle-thin bits since those are the ones that tend to break most frequently. I was able to drill though 1/8-inch thick steel in less than a minute with one of the thinner bits, being careful not to bend as I drilled. Drilling steel takes patience and requires a starter point or a drill press if doing precision work. But these bits will drill into steel if you allow the bit to do the work and not push them too hard. This is a very decent set of bits and it makes an excellent backup set too.

This is one of those products that's exactly what it claims to be, but probably not what the average DIYer actually needs.Sixty drill bits sounds impressive until you realize the largest one in the set is only a #1 drill bit, which measures about 0.228 inches. These are all small bits, and the size differences between many of them are tiny. That's on me for not paying closer attention before ordering.For someone using a drill press or doing precision work where hole size really matters, I can absolutely see the value. But for everyday projects with a handheld drill, I honestly don't think most people will ever notice the difference between, say, a #20 and a #22 bit.The indexed storage case is organized well, making it easy to find the size you need, and the bits appear to be well made. They cut adequately, although I did notice they weren't quite as razor-sharp out of the package as some other new drill bit sets I've used.At around $30, I think they're a little overpriced for the average homeowner. Somewhere closer to $20 would feel like a stronger value.If your work requires a wide range of precise, small drill sizes, this set will probably make you very happy. If you're just hanging pictures, building shelves, and tackling the occasional weekend project, you're likely paying for a lot of sizes you'll never use.

This has quickly become my favorite drill bit set.It may sound a little strange, but the first thing I want to mention is the storage case. In my opinion, it's one of the biggest selling points. Unlike many drill bit cases that pop open easily or allow the bits to shift around, this one is very secure and well-designed. Take a look at the photos—the inside is stepped (tiered), which keeps every bit in its own position. That means they don't slide around or fall out during transport, something I've experienced with many other sets.The bits are also easy to remove when you need them and just as easy to return to their proper spot. They stay exactly where they're supposed to, which makes the set much more enjoyable to use.As for the drill bits themselves, they're exactly what you'd hope for. They're extremely sharp, feel very durable, and cut cleanly through a variety of materials. The wide range of numbered sizes makes this an incredibly versatile set, and it's an excellent replacement for the mismatched collection of bits that had accumulated in my toolbox over the years.Overall, this is a high-quality set with an outstanding storage case. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a complete, well-organized drill bit collection.
