I am SO excited about these! I’m a contractor and I inherited a 100 year old house that has been a full inside and outside renovation. I’ve been working on it for over a year but the last almost 8 months it has basically been my main priority. One of the staircases is extremely narrow and steep because, well, old house lol. It goes down into the basement and there was only one junction box at the bottom.I had asked my electrician to add another junction box partway down so I could have another light fixture but it was literally his last day doing the finishing touches and he was already completely booked. I already have the light fixture, so I’ll eventually have him finish that part, but I needed a solution in the meantime. Then these stair lights popped up and I immediately thought WHAT A PERFECT SOLUTION!I’m a contractor but I’m definitely not an electrician, so seeing all the pieces initially made me a little nervous. I watched a quick video and read the directions though and this was honestly easy peasy to install. Don’t let all the pieces scare you. The plug and play connectors make everything snap together really easily and the cuttable strips make it much easier to work around different stair sizes.I originally considered battery operated motion sensor lights but with this many lights I really didn’t want to deal with constantly charging them or changing batteries. This setup is SO much better. I love that I can control the lights from upstairs or downstairs with the 3 way switches and the dimmer lets me go from a soft glow to full brightness.The warm white 3000K looks beautiful and adds such a nice ambiance while actually making the stairs feel much safer. I did count wrong and need two more steps, BUT there’s already a light at the bottom so I’m just leaving out the bottom three strips. It’s actually going to work out perfectly and I think it’s going to look gorgeous when the staircase is finished.The build quality is great and the whole kit feels like a well thought out setup. For the price and how much easier this made my situation, the value for money is honestly excellent. I’m so glad I found these!

I wanted to share my feedback regarding the RW-24T LED Stair Lights Kit (20 & 12 Steps, Warm White 3000K). Overall, it is a highly recommended product that greatly enhances both the appearance and safety of the steps. The warm white 3000K color provides excellent ambiance and even lighting across each tread, working perfectly with any decor.The kit includes everything needed for the installation, such as the controller, power supply, two switches, a simple and effective rotary dimmer, and extra extension leads. The plug-and-play connectors with polarized plugs make the connections effortless, and the included adhesive works very well, provided the surface is properly cleaned beforehand. Additionally, the dual wall switches for the top and bottom of the stairs are incredibly useful for operating the lights from either side. Please note that while the switches might look a bit different than standard household switches, they look good and function perfectly.The only minor drawback is that installing and wiring the individual steps requires some patience, as trimming and hiding the excess wiring can be a bit tedious. However, there is plenty of wiring provided, and the final results are well worth the effort. I loved the kit so much that I actually purchased two additional sets—one for a different set of steps and another to repurpose for a separate project.Given how excellently priced and functional this kit is, I highly recommend it.

So my stairs needed lights. Little glowing lights on each step. The fancy kind. The kind that makes your staircase look like it belongs in a nice hotel instead of a place where I trip in the dark carrying laundry.These arrived. Twelve steps worth. Warm white, 3000K, which is a soft cozy glow, not the harsh blue kind that makes your house feel like a gas station. I opened the box and got excited. My hands wanted to drill. My brain said wait.So I waited. I did the smart thing. I laid them all out first. I plugged them in and tested them before I touched a single drill bit.Let me say that louder for the folks in the back. Test them first. Please. Do not just walk up to your stairs with a drill and a dream. Lay everything out. Plug it in. Make sure it works. Because there is nothing sadder than a man who drills twelve holes into his own staircase and then finds out something is wrong. That man cries. Do not be that man. Be the man who tested first. Be me.And oh, they look great. Really great. The glow is soft and warm. It spreads out nice and even along the strip. It is a COB strip, so there are no little dots. Just one smooth line of light. It looks classy. It looks expensive. It looks like I know what I am doing, which is a rare and beautiful illusion.The strip is cuttable too. You can trim it to fit your steps. And it is dimmable, zero to one hundred percent. So I can crank it up bright or bring it way down low for a soft nighttime glow. There is even a three-way switch setup, which is smart, because stairs have a top and a bottom and both ends deserve a switch.The whole thing is plug and play. No wiring degree required. No sparks. No calling an electrician who charges me just to walk in the door.Now the one problem. The controller.It is bulky. It is a chunky little brick. I held it in my hand and thought, well, where do you go, buddy. It needs a home. And right now it does not have one. It is just sitting there, big and confident, waiting for me to figure out its life.I have not solved this yet. I will find a spot for it eventually. Somewhere out of sight. Somewhere it can be bulky in private.So here is my honest take. The lights look wonderful. The glow is warm. The strip cuts and dims like it should. Setup is easy. My only gripe is the chunky controller and finding a place to hide it.I have not installed them on the stairs yet. But I tested first, like a responsible adult. My stairs still have all their holes right where they belong. And soon they will glow.So far, so good. Now I just need to find that controller a home before it moves into mine for good.

I did not think my staircase needed a change. Now it looks like it is part of a big Vegas show. The RW-24T kit gives each of my 12 steps a white shine at 3000K. To me that light feels just like a cozy blanket. Walking down at night does not feel like a gamble, with gravity anymore. Instead walking down, the stairs feels like strutting down a runway with confidence.The 3-way switch control is a nice touch. I can flip the RW-24T kit lights on from upstairs downstairs or wherever I feel like it. Since the RW-24T kit has 0–100% dimming my stairs can go from " mood lighting" to "emergency evacuation drill" in about two seconds.Was the installation hard? No, it was easy. The cuttable COB strip is plug-and-play. This means even people who struggle with DIY tasks can handle the RW-24T kit. I did not need an electrician or any headaches. I just plugged the RW-24T kit in stuck it down and had staircase drama.The bottom line is that these RW-24T kit lights make my stairs safer, sleeker and much more fun. Honestly, I catch myself turning the RW-24T kit lights on just to look at the glow. My house feels like it is saying, "Welcome to the show folks."

Polarized plugs also reduced the chance of hooking a strip up backward.* Strips cut cleanly to match my tread width, and the kit includes the controller, power supply, two switches, and extra extension leads.What I didn’t like:* Wiring 20 individual steps still took most of an afternoon. Plug and play helps, but you still have to route, trim, and hide a lot of cable.* The power supply and controller need a spot that stays accessible. I ended up putting them in a closet near the stairs rather than under a tread.* Factory adhesive held at first, but a couple of strips lifted a bit at the ends.* The included 42 in strips leave leftover after cutting for a standard residential stair, so you end up with extra pieces to store or toss.* Switches and controller housing look functional rather than like standard home electrical trim. They work, they just do not match the rest of the plates in the house.This kit does what it claims for indoor stairs: warm light, dimming, and control from both floors. Plan on a full install session and a little extra mounting hardware if your treads are painted or textured.

Once installed, this 12-step LED stair lighting system looks beautiful. The 3000K warm white light is soft and inviting, giving the staircase useful illumination without making it feel overly bright or harsh.One of my favorite features is the 3-way switch control. You can turn the stair lights on or off from either the top or bottom of the staircase, which is exactly where this type of control makes sense.The system is also dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness depending on how much illumination you want. The LED strips can be cut to fit the width of your individual steps, which gives the finished installation a much more customized appearance.All of the parts were included, and I particularly liked the connectors. They made connecting the lighting considerably easier, and there really isn't an excessive amount of complicated wiring within the kit itself.That said, I would still not recommend this as a first lighting project. We are very familiar with lighting, switch controls, hardwiring, and home renovations, and the entire installation took us approximately six hours. The instructions are clear if you understand what you are looking at, but someone completely new to this type of work may find the installation challenging.Once completed, though, the result is excellent. Nothing was loose or rattling around, which gave me confidence that the seller takes shipping seriously.First thing I noticed: the COB (Chip-on-Board) strip is incredibly sleek. Unlike traditional LED strips with visible individual diodes, this one produces a continuous, seamless line of light—no hotspots or dots. The warm white 3000K color is exactly what I was hoping for. It's a soft, inviting glow—not too yellow, not too cool. I held it up against my existing warm-white recessed lights, and the color match is nearly perfect.
