I have a beautiful bureau for holding silver and plates, etc. I got rid of the matching curio or whatever they're called, don't have the room nor the utensils for such furniture anymore. This is beautiful blonde and in the era of Mid century modern, my favorite since a child. The only problem is the legs do not match the style and are frankly to high for how I want it to look, as a entertainment piece in the closet that my equipment can be placed on. Still, I had wanted it to look more as if it were built in or at least more conducive to the modern look. It's at the height where you can't get under it to clean, or if you do you must pull it out and even with floor protectors on (they're ugly) it still is a witch to move. Therefore I knew it was going to be a change of legs? That would be easiest unless just wanting to remove these. I would if I was going for the built in look but nah.The legs arrived and they are the answers to my problem. Even though they don't entirely look like the mid modern period they still work well due to the simple stubby nature of them, they don't stand out to take huge notice away from anything else. Just need to stain them same color as stand now and then screw them in right before it's new life as the improved entertainment center! This makes my life so much easier and instead of having something stick out like a sore thumb probably I can only see, I can just sigh and relax until the next project. I'm on #1001 now.If you want to make a difference in the look of an old style piece of furniture, just change the legs if nothing else needs or should be changed. This changes many pieces easily without a lot of fanfare, just simple ingenuity. Great value.

I ordered a dresser online and over the last few months the center of it has started to bow down. Therefore my husband made me a little foot out of wood to hold up the center of the dresser so no more damage would be done. However, when I saw these feet I decided to order them so I could replace all the feet on the dresser and give the dresser a little more character and charm. I was also hopeful these shorter legs would help give the dresser some more structural integrity. These feet are made out of solid wood which is great. The sides are all sanded and smooth. However, there are some rough spots along the top of the foot. I will need to sand it down a little before I paint them. In addition, there is one foot that has a pretty large knot on it (see photo). Since I will be painting these it isn't a big deal, but if you were ordering these to stain then it might cause a little difference in how the stain adheres. So for my needs these will work nicely, and I do believe that they give the dresser more character and charm then the previous straight peg legs.

This set of four unfinished bun feet for furniture is well-turned and of uniform height, allowing furniture to which they are installed to remain steady and stable. The product comes not only with the feet themselves, but also with the mounting plates, screws, and the felt pads (which I appreciate since I have wood floors), making it a reasonable deal for the retail price point.One thing I'll note is that in the set I received, one bun foot had a very pronounced dark ring and another had pronounced dark spot. These seem to be present in the wood itself, rather than marks made after the fact, but typically I don't see these big contrasts in unfinished legs of this type available for purchase at brick and mortar stores, presumably because those feet are so often finished with dark and/or opaque finishes. The rest of the wood is very uniform without a pronounced wood grain, so the dark spots look a bit odder than they would if there was a heavier grain in general, and the dark spots are large enough that placement won't hide them. So while I'd initially thought I might use a light-colored stain on the bun feet, I opted to paint them in order to achieve a more uniform look.This issue with the dark figuring in the set of bun feet I received isn't necessarily going to be present with the bun feet that everyone gets, though, and while it will dictate finishing choices I make, it doesn't impact their function at all. The overall quality is good, and these are quite easy to install. So I'm still pretty happy with them.

I bought these to replace the legs on an older ottoman, and they worked out perfectly. Installation was very straightforward, even though I had to remove the old mounting sockets and install the new ones before attaching the legs.I chose to leave the wood unfinished simply because I liked the natural look, and it looks great as-is. The wood is smooth and nicely sanded, and the legs feel solid and well made.I did end up using the included stick-on pads, but that wasn't due to the legs themselves. My ottoman wasn't perfectly level, so one corner needed a little extra height. The pads solved the problem easily.I was so happy with how these turned out that I planned to buy another set for the matching chair. Unfortunately, I discovered the chair had more structural damage than it was worth repairing. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these again.If you need replacement furniture legs, these are an excellent choice. They're quality-made, easy to install, and gave my ottoman a whole new life.
