Nice landscape lighting kit for small areasNice landscape lighting kit for small areas

The lights came packed in a sturdy box so nothing got broken. The little note inside is a nice touch in case you need to reach them for assistance. There are a lot of parts... Be prepared for a little assembly. It's not hard, it just takes a bit of time to install the lights. The sheet of directions helps. We tested one light after dark and were pleased with the brightness of the light. So...Since the wiring was too short for where we planned to put the lights along the front of the house, we are going to rewire them with more wire so we can put them where we wanted. At this point, I can recommend this nice lighting kit as long as you understand you can't set them out over a long distance.

Took about 10 minutes to unbox, unfold the wires, attach the spikes to the lights, and attach the wires to the control box. I was a little taken back at first when I saw one end of the wire just stopped with no sort of plug or attachment but then I caved and read the instructions. The wire pulls apart and sticks into the box and screws down to attach. One thing not in the instructions: when putting the wire in the control box - the covering does not just pop off. You have to get a small screwdriver and unscrew two screws and then it comes off easily. (Separate tiny screws clamp down on the wire inside that little cavity). I tried to show in photos best I could. The steaks unscrew from the actual light and they are metal so you can beat it into the ground without hurting the light. There is also an additional piece between the steak and the light so that you don’t have to have mass cord chaos spinning the light onto the steak with the wire. From the light there is a ~2ft cord and then a plug that goes into the main wire. That attachment has a little rubber gasket and then screws down tight so I trust it’s water resistance. The length of the wire if much longer than my tape measure so unless you have a mansion, this set up has plenty of distance to light up the front of any normal house. If it ends up not being long enough; I supposed that’s where the blunt ending wire turns into a pro and you can attach additional wire between the existing wire and the box. Idk if that would void their warranty but an option nonetheless. They are VERY BRIGHT. I tested it out inside and it came on on “auto” and it was sensing its own light it was putting out (cause - indoors) and it was tripping itself up thinking it was daylight from its own lights. Easy fix: don’t point the lights right at the day/night sensor. lol. Color is black so will blend in well. I’m not fond of the idea of putting a photo of my home on Amazon so I laid it all out on my kitchen table to get some photos but I am really excited to get these set up outside tomorrow.

Bright, Warm Landscape Lights in a Complete Kit

[Number of Items: 4]
I ordered this landscape lighting kit to brighten up the outside of my home, and I like that everything I needed for installation comes in one box. The four aluminum spotlights feel sturdy, and the warm white light provides plenty of brightness without looking harsh. The adjustable heads make it easy to direct the light toward trees, landscaping, or the front of the house.I like that the screw-on connectors make installation fairly simple, and the dusk-to-dawn setting is convenient. Once everything is set, the transformer remembers the previous setting, so there is no need to reset it every day.The main thing to check before ordering is whether the included 37-foot wire will be long enough for your particular yard. Depending on how far apart you want the lights, you may need additional low-voltage wire. Placement of the transformer is also important because the lights can flicker if the photocell is exposed to their light or if the first fixture is installed too close to it. I found this out the hard way, but once I made the adjustments, they worked perfectly.Overall, this is a bright and attractive landscape lighting kit that offers good value, especially since the transformer, wire, connectors, and four lights are all included.

These lights make my house look great at night. They are very ease to install and use. The included DC transformer has the option to turn on at dusk and turn of when the sun comes up. This is a great feature and works well. It is important to position the transformer box far away from the lights when installing so the lights don’t trigger the photocell when they turn on at night. There is plenty of wire to position the lights far from the DC transformer box. The lights have two mounting solutions. There is a bracket that can be screwed into a wall or fence and there is the option to mount them using a stake. These look well built and waterproof. I think they will hold up well outside. I will update if the fail prematurely. Overall very happy and definitely would recommend these to anyone looking for some bright low voltage outdoor garden lights.

I love outdoor landscape lighting. This 4-light kit is a high quality and great value set up for a smaller yard or area. It delivers exactly as the description promises... “all in one!” If you’re looking for a simple setup that is easy to install and maintain, I highly recommend it.You get four 12-watt lights, the connecting cable, connectors, ground stakes, and the 100-watt transformer that plugs into a standard outlet. Each light can be pushed into the ground using the included stake, or you can mount it to a wall or other surface using the two screw holes in the base. Either way, the light can then be angled exactly where you want it.The method for connecting the lights to the cable is actually one of the easiest I’ve ever used. The attachment locations are already positioned along the cable, so you don’t have to cut or splice anything. You simply connect each light by twisting together the preinstalled male and female connectors. The tradeoff is that you don’t get to choose exactly where each connection falls along the cable, but the spacing worked perfectly well for my installation.Since each light is only 12w, and the transformer is rated to 100 W, you definitely have some extra capacity here approximately 50 W. I do not believe this cable with connectors configuration is expandable beyond the 4 lights… but you could easily connect your own 2nd main cable to the transformer, giving you the ability to add many more fixtures. The transformer is also more feature-packed than I expected. It includes a photocell for automatic dusk-to-dawn operation as well as selectable operating modes, and it remembers the previous setting. That makes the whole system pretty much set-it-and-forget-it once everything is installed. As for the lights themselves, they are quite bright. The manufacturer rates each one at 1200 lumens with a warm 2700K color temperature. I would describe these more as landscape floodlights versus traditional “pathway lights” (as per product description). This is a good thing. Flood type bulbs are harder to find these days. It means the beam is fairly wide rather than narrowly focused. This works better for illuminating trees, bushes, planters, walls, or the exterior of a home (see my tree photo… an illumination achieved close up that lights most of the tree!)The materials are solid with aluminum housings that feel substantial. Just a notch below “professional quality” in my opinion. Yes, they are rated for outdoor use.Overall: With this kit you get virtually everything needed for a complete low-voltage landscape lighting installation in one box. Installation is refreshingly simple, the lights are bright and attractive, and the transformer gives you useful automatic controls. For the amount of equipment included, I think the overall value here is tremendous. Highly recommended.

Initially I thought the installation would be time consuming but it was not. The stakes screw on easily and the lights are screwed on as well, no tool needed. Simply push in the nut to release the screw, add the light and rescrew while holding the nut.The quality of the lights is very good, not plastic. To install each light to the long wire it's simply plug in. You do have to connect the raw end of the wire to the control box but it's not too difficult. Splice the wire to make 2 ends, remove some of the rubber and insert the copper into the back of the box after removing the cover with a small phillips screw driver. The directions are not that good but I figured everything out. Make sure to screw the copper wire in tightly so it doesn't slip out.The control box gives you options. The lights works as described. You can adjust the lights to shine in various directions/angles.One other thing... You can mount these on a deck instead of using stakes in the ground. They provided screw holes on the bottom of the light holder. Screws not included.

High Quality Outdoor Lighting Kit For My Garden!High Quality Outdoor Lighting Kit For My Garden!

[Number of Items: 4, Number of Items: 4]
My front yard was completely dark at night, and this low voltage landscape lightning was exactly what I need to light up the walkway and a large oak tree. Getting everything hooked up was a breeze since the box includes the transformer and plenty of wire. The connectors clamped right on without any headaches, so I had all four lights running in under an hour. They feel heavy and durable, and they have already survived two heavy rainstorms with zero issues thanks to the tight waterproof seals. The light itself is a really nice warm white, not that harsh blue color you see on cheaper sets. It puts out a lot of brightness for just 12 watts, making the landscaping stand out nicely while giving us plenty of visibility when walking up to the door at night. Having everything bundled together meant I didn't have to run back to the hardware store for extra parts. If you want a solid, affordable way to brighten up your property, this set does exactly what it promises.

This landscape lighting kit is a great way to add both illumination and atmosphere to an outdoor space. The 2700K warm LED light creates a soft, inviting glow that looks especially nice along walkways, landscaping, garden beds, or around the exterior of the house.I really like the style of the pathway lights. They provide useful outdoor lighting while also giving the landscaping a more polished and finished appearance after dark. The 12W lights provide a substantial amount of illumination, and having four pathway lights in the kit makes it possible to create a coordinated look across a larger area rather than using mismatched individual fixtures.Another advantage is the all-in-one low-voltage setup. Having the necessary components together makes the project much more convenient than purchasing the lights and then trying to determine which additional pieces are needed separately. The warm 2700K color temperature is one of my favorite features. It creates a more elegant and welcoming effect than a harsh, cool white light and complements outdoor landscaping beautifully. The fixtures also have a clean design that looks attractive during the daytime, so they don't become an eyesore when the lights aren't turned on.Overall, this is a beautiful low-voltage landscape lighting kit with warm 2700K illumination, attractive pathway fixtures, and a convenient coordinated setup. It adds both function and ambiance to an outdoor space and gives the landscaping a much more finished look at night.
