Love this brand, and I have many of their products. These are fantastic on a balcony and work with Smart Life and then my G Home setup perfectly. Finding outdoor lighting that offers both reliable smart home connectivity and vibrant color customization can be tough, but APPECK nails it.Smart Integration and ControlSetting up the lights through the app is straightforward, and linking them to a smart home ecosystem takes only a minute. Voice commands via Google Assistant respond instantly for turning the lights on or off, dimming the brightness, or shifting color themes. The schedule feature makes it easy to automate evening illumination without needing to manually toggle them every night.Durability and Lighting QualityThe build quality is robust, featuring shatter resistant bulbs and IP65 waterproof seals that handle rain and wind without a hitch. The warm white setting provides a cozy ambient glow for relaxing evenings, while the vibrant RGB colors and dynamic scene modes bring great energy for gatherings and holidays. A fantastic addition to any outdoor space. Great price.

I've gotten quite a few APPECK light sets in the last year or two and I've yet to be disappointed, and these are no different. The main reason I always grab APPECK stuff first is really simple, they're all based on the Tuya ecosystem and that means they use the Smart Life app, which is trusted, and used by a ton of my devices, and easily integratable into things like Home Assistant. This is always going to score big when I go to use any kind of smart device. But a close second is the quality, and as I said above, they never disappoint. The build quality is solid, the wires are thick and insulated with a heavy silicon shielding that makes them very resistant to heat and cold, as well as being bent and kinked.Like any of these bulb-type lights, they are a bit of a tangled mess out of the gate, but thankfully with only 15 bulbs this batch were a lot easier to untangle than some others I've come across. Prepare yourself to do a bit of untangling before you start putting them up, and I recommend stretching them out in a straight line once you do, or they'll tangle right back up.Installation is super simple, each bulb has an eyelet so you can hook each one onto its own hook and save yourself having to figure out where to put the hooks and how to make sure the line doesn't have too much slack, that's all pretty well handled for you as long as you just pull it somewhat taut and sink a hook where the bulb is, only took me about 30 minutes to get them up, and that includes moving the ladder.Once you've got that part done, hook up the power brick (which is also the "brains" of the lights, containing the controller that puts them online and the sort), I personally put the actual power brick itself inside of my window, but that's mostly because I already had a wire coming in that window and I just happened to end up with the power end of the string finished right there. You can put the power brick outside according to the directions, but I'm always wary to test how water resistant the functional bits are, I'm pretty confident the lights themselves will be fine in the weather. The lights themselves are clear and bright, with a great LED being reflected through a small crystal-like case inside of a clear bulb, the colors are very rich and being RGBW you get nice colors all across the range and a nice array of whites if you want to use the lights for actually lighting up the area instead of being atmospheric. The app works great, being Smart Life by Tuya, as mentioned above, which is used by quite a wide amount of makes of devices like these, and has had a lot of years of being refined and optimized for the best experience, I've never had any trouble using the app, and linking new devices to it takes seconds once they're in pairing mode. Having all of my stuff in one place is really nice, and being able to do so always gets a huge bump in kudos from me.Overall, these lights are a really nice step up from my old white-only bulbs, which were solar powered, and that's really the only bonus they had over these, and I can live without that, because these look way nicer. The only complaint I really have, and this is a complaint I share with all of APPECK's stuff, is the remote, which works great, but once you've got a few devices of theirs in the same house, and the remotes being radio remotes and not IR remotes, things start conflicting with each other, I have three lights that all turn on when you press the power button for one, and they all react differently to the buttons on different remotes. It would have been really great if they had taken a bit more time to make sure the remotes weren't conflicting with each other, but I'm unsure that's anything they can fix in firmware updates or not.

Love the lights however, when I ask about replacement bulbs it says you can replace bulbs by rotating bulb counterclockwise. This is totally inaccurate. The lights I have C6507-D are integrated. They are not replaceable. Not sure when one finally goes out I guess there will just be a large space in the run. Here is hoping they last a really long time since a lot of work went into the installation. We bought in June and just installed so I am beyond the return period or they would go back. Not because they are not beautiful, but I expect the information to be accurate.

These 50 ft smart RGBW outdoor string lights are a very nice upgrade for a patio, deck, backyard, fence line, or party space. The warm white setting makes them useful for ordinary evenings, while the color modes, scenes, dimming, music sync, and smart controls give them much more personality than a basic string light set. They manage to be practical lighting and mood lighting at the same time, which is a fine thing when the backyard wants to pretend it has a social life.My grading here focuses on brightness, color quality, smart controls, durability, weather resistance, ease of installation, expandability, and overall value. This is a strong feature set for outdoor decorative lighting, especially if you want both normal warm-white illumination and colorful holiday or party options. My Rubric✅ Good = Qualifies as a selling point➖ So-So = Not great, but also nothing resembling a show stopper❌ Not Good = Could be a show stopperMy star ratings, which tend to skew upward due to limitations in the 5 star system are further elaborated in a decimalized scoring at the end of the review. Finally, although some items have been freely offered via the Vine system, I refuse to sell out and will never allow a vendor to influence my scoring through any means other than the quality of the product, both on its own and in relation to the current pricing at the time of my review. I value the efforts of other honest reviewers and wish nothing more than to pay their efforts forward in hopes of faithfully guiding others to informed decisions. The Good✅ Excellent color options, The RGBW setup offers vivid colors plus a dedicated 2700K warm white.✅ Great everyday lighting, The warm white mode gives a cozy patio glow without feeling harsh.✅ 111 scene modes, There are plenty of preset looks for parties, holidays, barbecues, and seasonal decorating.✅ Individual bulb control, Being able to control each bulb opens up more creative lighting options.✅ Multiple control methods, App control, Alexa, Google Assistant, remote control, and control-box operation all add convenience.✅ Dimmable brightness, The lights can be softened for relaxed evenings or brightened for gatherings.✅ Music sync mode, The sound-reactive feature adds a fun party effect when wanted.✅ Weather-resistant build, The string and controller are IP65 rated, with an IP44 power supply.✅ Shatterproof bulbs, The PC bulb material is much less nerve-racking than fragile glass outside.✅ Expandable design, The system can be extended for larger patios, backyards, fences, or event spaces. The So-So➖ 2.4GHz WiFi only, This is common for smart lights, but router setup can be a hurdle for some households.➖ App quality may matter, The lights are strongest when the app connects smoothly and gives full control.➖ Remote batteries not included, The remote requires AAA batteries, so plan accordingly.➖ Installation takes planning, Measuring the space and deciding on hanging points before starting will save frustration.➖ Many modes may be more than needed, The scene list is generous, but most people will likely settle into a handful of favorites. The Not-Good❌ No major show-stopper from my perspective, provided the app setup works with your WiFi and the lights are installed with proper outdoor power protection. The detailsThese lights stand out because they are not just color-changing novelty lights. The warm white mode makes them useful for normal outdoor evenings, while the RGB modes make them easy to dress up for holidays, parties, or just a little backyard drama. The 50 ft length and 15 bulbs provide good coverage for many patios or seating areas, and the ability to expand the setup is helpful for larger spaces. The control options are another major strength. Voice control through Alexa or Google Assistant is convenient, the app allows more detailed customization, and the remote is useful when WiFi is weak or when someone just wants a button instead of another tiny life negotiation with a phone. I also like that individual bulbs can be controlled, since that gives the strand more flexibility than simple whole-string color changes. The main caution is smart-light setup. These require 2.4GHz WiFi for app control, and as with many smart devices, the experience depends partly on router behavior and signal strength. Once configured, though, this is a very capable outdoor lighting system with good brightness, attractive color, weather resistance, and enough customization to keep the patio interesting long after dinner is over.Final Rating: 4.7/5 (Bright, colorful, durable, and highly customizable, with the main caveat being the usual 2.4GHz smart-light setup considerations).

I installed these lights around my wife's book room, and they've been a great addition. The setup was straightforward, and the 50-foot strand was the perfect length for my space without needing to purchase extra sections. The bulbs feel durable, and the wiring seems well-made for outdoor use.The warm white setting has become my favorite for everyday evenings because it creates a cozy atmosphere without being overly bright. When we have friends or family over, it's nice to switch to the RGB colors or one of the many scene modes to add a little more personality. The app was easy to connect to, and having Alexa compatibility makes it convenient to control the lights with a simple voice command or schedule them to turn on automatically. After several weeks of use, including a few rainy days, everything has continued to work as expected. The brightness is adjustable, the colors are vibrant, and the lights have made the patio feel much more inviting. If you're looking for smart outdoor string lights that offer plenty of customization while still providing a clean, warm everyday look, these are definitely worth considering.

These outdoor string lights are a great replacement for my backyard string lights. I was using a basic soft white string of lights but when i saw this RGB set I had to get them. The bulbs look identical to the set I had up before, they are the same size, shape and they are shatterproof.I really like that they come with both an app and a remote, I can leave them plugged in and not have to worry about getting to the extension cord every time I want to use them or turn them off, which saves me a lot of time in the summer when I use them almost nightly. The smart features make it easy to adjust the colors, or brightness and they even have a music mode. It reacts to sounds and music and spices things up so its not so plain. There are plenty of lights included in the 50ft length, which provides good coverage without being overwhelming or too flashy. I strung these on the overhang of my covered patio and it looks nice with both colored light or a soft white light. There are tons of color options, and I can even change each bulb individually in the app.Overall, I think these are great, I love that i get both a soft white or color options with the same strand of lights and the remote control function makes it so convenient.

These 50ft smart RGBW string lights completely transform any backyard into a customizable oasis. Featuring 15 durable, shatterproof LED bulbs, the IP65-rated Outdoor String Lights offer 111 dynamic scene modes and easy voice command integration with Alexa.I’ve owned several outdoor lighting setups, but these 50ft smart RGBW string lights are by far the most impressive. Whether you are aiming for a cozy warm-white ambiance or a vibrant, multi-color light show for a summer barbecue, this set delivers flawlessly. What I Love:Vibrant Colors & Warm Whites: The RGBW output is rich and beautiful. The dedicated warm white is soft and inviting for everyday use, while the 16 million color options and 111 scene modes let you set the perfect mood for any holiday or gathering.Flawless Smart Integration: Connecting these to my Alexa ecosystem was completely hassle-free. Being able to say, "Alexa, set the patio lights to blue," or dimming them via voice is incredibly convenient. The companion smartphone app is also highly responsive if you prefer granular control over custom DIY colors.All-Weather Durability: We’ve had a few typical, windy Oregon coast rainstorms since I hung them, and the IP65 waterproofing held up perfectly with no moisture inside the bulbs. The bulbs themselves feel highly shatterproof, which gave me peace of mind during installation.Expandable Design: The 50ft length with 15 LED bulbs is a great starting point, but the ability to connect multiple strands means you can easily customize the coverage for larger backyards or decks.Things to Consider:Setup is straightforward, but remember to measure your space and plan your hanging points before stringing them up. Since the line is extendable, consider grabbing a second set if you have a massive perimeter to cover.Bottom Line: These are premium, durable, and incredibly fun patio lights. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to elevate their outdoor living space.

These string lights do a great job combining durability, customization, and convenience into one package. They feel like a noticeable step up from many of the options you'll find at big-box stores.Build quality is one of the first things that stands out. The bulbs are made from a durable hard plastic instead of fragile glass, which gives a lot more confidence when installing them outdoors. You don't have to constantly worry about accidental drops or impacts causing damage. The lighting quality is excellent. The warm white mode produces a comfortable 2700K glow that works perfectly for everyday porch or patio lighting, while the RGB color options allow you to switch things up for holidays, parties, or seasonal decorations.Color customization is a major strength. There are numerous lighting modes, colors, and effects available, making it easy to create different moods depending on the occasion. One feature I particularly appreciated was the flexible power cable system. Instead of being stuck with a long excess cord that needs to be hidden, the included extension options let you build the setup closer to the exact length you need. That makes installation cleaner and much easier to manage.Brightness is very good. The bulbs provide plenty of light for porches, patios, and outdoor entertaining areas without feeling harsh or overwhelming.Voice control integration works well. While the app gets the job done, it feels somewhat basic and less polished than some competing smart lighting platforms. Fortunately, once connected to Amazon Alexa, controlling the lights becomes much more convenient and enjoyable.Weather resistance and overall durability appear solid, making them well suited for long-term outdoor use.Value for the money is excellent considering the build quality, color options, durable bulbs, and expandable cable system.Overall, these are attractive, durable, and highly customizable string lights that offer great flexibility and strong performance for outdoor lighting projects.
