Product works as advertised and is a quality product. Lamp on a 6ft. cord plugs in right behind my recliner. Lamp is about 4 feet to the left of my chair. The off / on dimmer switch sits on the wide arm rest of my recliner. Now I control the table lamp from my recliner without having to get out of my chair. Works great and the dimmer slide is easy to use. A great $12.00 investment.

This is working really well. I couldn't get the lamp (which I use a ceramic heat coil in as for reptiles) at the right height, it was either too hot, or too cool at the different heights. This fixed all of that. I put it at the too hot at some times of day height, and then I just use this to back it off when it is warmer in the house or turn it up for cool nights...bonus is you can also use it to turn it completely off and there is a cord so you can run the control box wherever is convenient to handle it. It's a total game changer for me as the temps shift to the really hot part of the year and days are really warm and nights are still a bit cool for chicks. I'm getting one for each possible heat light that I'll potentially use at one time so no chick has to be too hot or too cold and thus they are healthier and do better.

Simple and easy way to add dimmer capabilities to your lamps, so long as the bulbs are dimmable as well. This is easy peaazy and works super easy. The slider is very tactile and feels nice and smooth when adjusting. The whole chord has a nice quality feel to it which I like as it gives a sense of quality and safety. Highly recommend for any lamps you want to tone down a bit!
