This is a beautiful white silk shade fabric light. It’s a hanging pendant. It’s almost 12 inches in diameter and has either a brass or copper/gold color,This is a very beautiful design. It’s a timeless sort of design, and the use of the white fabric, which is imitation silk, adds a lot of class to it. It’s a clean, modern design with a Scandinavian contemporary feel. It’s adjustable to different heights from the ceiling, between 16 inches and 74 inches.It uses one standard E26 lightbulb socket. As many of you know the E 26 lightbulb socket the standard American lightbulb socket that’s been used for more than 120 years and for which there are literally millions of different lightbulb variations The lightbulb for this light is not included because of the nature of the silk shade although the manufacturer doesn’t specify, I would recommend nothing larger than 40 W of incandescent light as you wouldn’t want to discover the shade. 40 W of incandescent light, when converted to LED, is a tremendous amount of light.The standard formula that’s used to compare LED lighting to incandescent lighting is that a 19 W LED light bulb is equivalent to a 100 W old-style incandescent light bulb. It was very popular in the 1980s and 1990s.Consider the LED wire you’ll use, as it depends on where you place the light. Will you place it in a kitchen island situation, or in a bedroom or living room situation? That would affect the number of lumens you would like to generate.Remember also that if you depend on where you install the slot, you may wish to get a dimmer switchboard as well. You may want a little more lighting power and a dimmer switch so you can dim it down for a more romantic Interlude.Installation of this fixture is very easy. The canopy has an insulation plate for connecting it to the junction box, and if you already have a standard US junction box in the ceiling, the installation is not complex.After you made the required adjustment to the length that you wish this pendant light to hang from the ceiling and after you’ve made the set up the pendant light in that manner, you may then wish to uninstall the installation plate and bracket from the from the canopy, it is secured to the canopy with two screws on the sides of the canopy or two bolts noted to the front of the canopy. You can then flash it several times to make certain that you’re talking about the same circuit breaker.Second, because electrical work requires you to check everything twice, we strongly recommend using an electrical testing device to test the circuits and wires. You’re about a touch before you touch them. Most electrical testing devices do not have to actually touch the wire, but since the current in the wire can be dangerous, they warn you with flashing lights and an audible sound; this is an essential tool for anyone doing electrical work.Most people don’t know how to use wire lock nuts. After you follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully, thread the wires through the installation plates and bolt them to the junction box. Take the black wire on the House service side, which is 24-gauge solid-core, and the wire from the fixture, which is black and is 28-gauge multi-strand copper, and place both of those wires with the tips bare the last half centimeter and place them into a wire lock nut and turn clockwise until a mechanical electrical connection is established. Do the same with the white wire and the green wire. It may take practice, but eventually you’ll figure.This is an absolutely beautiful fixture, and the white silk shade sets it off and lends it a great deal of class. It would be very appropriate in the bedroom, on a kitchen island, or in the living room.

This thing is LEGIT!! IM not sure what exactly I was expecting when ordering this, being it is advertised as a "dupe" to a $500+ light fixture...Immediately when I opened it, I got obsessed with this thing! Honestly, it is so soft, and kind of satisfying to "pet it" (lol)... but then I saw the white gloves and freaked out a bit... maybe your not supposed to touch it without the gloves on!?! Anyways... it feels like a shaved cat. I'm not sure what those feel like.. but I imagine they feel how this lamp shade feels! It is a silky-velvety feel... really really really impressed with this! The quality is mind blowing! It is such a pretty, yes simple, yet interesting light fixture... it honestly could be used with any decor style! It's muted enough for the minimalist, yet bougie enough for those who crave modern, unique, high-end items!The brass on the fixture is solid! This whole fixture is designed well, its pretty, it's everything!

This globe pendant light softened the entire mood of the room. The white silk shade diffuses the light instead of creating a harsh glare. After professional installation, I hung it above a small dining table that had always felt slightly unfinished. The first evening we used it, an ordinary pasta dinner suddenly looked much more intentional. The 11.8-inch globe was large enough to make an impact without overwhelming the space. Its simple white design blended easily with the surrounding furniture and décor. I especially liked the warm ambient glow while sitting at the table after sunset. The reinforced metal frame helped the shade maintain its rounded shape. An E26 bulb base also provided flexibility when selecting an appropriate bulb and brightness. The fixture would work equally well in a bedroom, kitchen nook, or reading corner. My kids noticed the softer atmosphere before commenting on the actual light itself. This pendant did not improve my cooking, but it certainly gave dinner better lighting and much stronger restaurant energy.

This pendant light comes with everything that you need to get lit up. In the description, it says it’s a silk pendant light, which when I touched the actual lampshade. It is so super soft, silky, silky, smooth. it does take a little handy work to put it together, but they make it so simple by giving you an instruction manual. If you follow it step-by-step, you will not have a problem. My 15-year-old daughter put it together. this is definitely a tip top lamp. you are able to change the light temperature. You can tone it for warm or cool depending on your mood. I 100% back this item up you will be happy with the purchase of this item. This product is quality made. Very high-end but not a very high price.
