This ceiling light is definitely more interesting than the typical builder-grade flush mount. The combination of the gold hardware and ribbed green glass gives it a nice vintage/Art Deco-ish look, and it feels like an actual design choice rather than something you install because it was the cheapest light at the hardware store. The size is also good for a hallway, bedroom, entryway, or anywhere you want something decorative without having a fixture hanging down very far.That said, I don't love it quite as much when it's turned on as I do when it's turned off. The green glass casts more green into the light than I expected, which can make the room look a little odd depending on the bulbs and surrounding colors. I was hoping the green would mostly be an accent on the fixture itself, but it definitely influences the light output. It isn't terrible, but I think the overall effect could be refined.The bottom diffuser is a good idea since it keeps you from staring directly into three bulbs, but the diffuser disc on mine doesn't fit quite as neatly as it should. It feels like one of those parts where another millimeter or two of attention during manufacturing would make the whole fixture feel considerably more polished. I also noticed a slight flicker from the lights. I verified that it isn't an issue with the house wiring, so there seems to be something about the fixture or its electrical components that could use improvement.Overall, I still like the design and think it's a nice-looking fixture for the price. It's unusual, compact, and much more visually interesting than a plain dome light. It just falls a little short of being as good in execution as it is in concept. With a better-fitting diffuser, less green cast to the illumination, and the flickering sorted out, this would be a really great fixture instead of merely a pretty good one.

This is a gorgeous ceiling light and looks just as substantial and elegant in person as I hoped it would.The combination of the gold finish and ribbed clear glass gives it a really pretty vintage-meets-modern look. The glass adds a lot of dimension when the lights are on, and the three-light design provides plenty of illumination while also making the fixture itself a focal point.I really like the semi-flush design because it gives you the more elevated look of a hanging fixture without taking up too much vertical space. At 13.8 inches across, it’s also a nice size—large enough to make an impact without overwhelming the room.At $150, I actually think the price is fair for what you’re getting. This doesn’t look or feel like an inexpensive builder-grade fixture. The ribbed glass, three-light configuration, gold detailing, and overall design give it a much more upscale appearance.Lighting can completely change the look of a room, and this is one of those fixtures that feels like part of the decor rather than simply something functional on the ceiling.Beautiful, well designed, and appropriately priced for the quality and style.

I have several Art Deco style light fixtures from Auquee with ridged glass. If you like this light fixture, there is the option to find other complementary lights from this brand for a coordinated look.I have a 1930s Prewar apartment so I try to decorate in a style which fits with the history. The ridged glass looks like classic Art Deco design. The brass accents are a rich, muted, brushed brass not shiny, tacky brass that would look too new.I chose the green shade because my home is decorated in blue and green. It adds a pretty pop of color. Because the bottom baffle is frosted, white glass I don't think the light cast will be too greenish. I haven't installed this light yet but the components seem to be standard for a semi flush mount light.The light has an open top so you can change the bulbs without unscrewing it. I am worried about dust. It seems like I could swirl a feather duster around. If the open top causes issues I will return to downgrade my review but so far it seems like a good feature. I usually dislike unscrewing the glass dome from fixtures to change a bulb.

This is a good classic ceiling light fixture. 3 lgihts with gold frames and ribbed glass shade in a cylinder shape, so both classic and modern.Quality of the frame and glass shade are both good. Easy to install since not too big or heavy. Perfect for a bedroom or small area. Very pretty.Price is reasonable for a good light fixture. Recommended.

The elegant gold finish, beautiful ribbed glass, generous light output, and quality construction make it a standout fixture that instantly upgrades the room. Despite the rough-looking shipping box, the excellent internal packaging kept everything perfectly protected. I would absolutely purchase this light again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish semi-flush mount fixture with a classic retro feel.

I love it! I got this AUQUEE 13.8" Semi Flush Mount Ceiling Light in Gold/Semi Clear. It is the perfect upgrade for our basic light in our front entry room. It elevates the overall look of the space as a sitting room and can work if we use the room as a formal dining room as well. It came packaged very well and was easy to install. It has a ribbed clear glass shade that is thick durable glass and looks beautiful. The only thing that I would say I don't love is the bottom piece because it doesn't look as high quality as the rest of the light. Overall, I am so happy with the look and quality of this light. Would definitely recommend.
