I used this to help dig some footings for fence posts, it did the job perfectly, I'd drill several holes close by each other about 3-4 inches deep and excavate as needed. I suggest using a slower speed and not trying to go to fast otherwise you'll torque your wrist when you hit a rock.Additionally I used it to mix concrete in buckets and it did that just greatOnly piece of advice is to make sure you the chuck is really tight because it will rattle loose if it's not, this is not a defect with the product it's just physics.
