I really love this ceiling fan! The 6 speeds give us plenty of options, so we can easily adjust the airflow depending on how warm or cool the room is.One of my favorite features is the reversible mode. Since heat rises, it’s especially nice in the winter to be able to use the remote to change the fan rotation and push that warm air back down into the room, helping keep the temperature more balanced. In the summer, reversing the airflow helps circulate the cooler air and keeps the room from feeling like a sauna.I absolutely love the natural Beachwood and black design. The carved solid wood blades give it a beautiful, natural appearance that I think would complement just about any decor style.There was one installation issue for us. We installed this on a cathedral ceiling with a downslope, and unfortunately there wasn’t enough wire slack in the quick-connect cable to accommodate the 48-inch downrod. We ended up having to splice the wires to make them longer so everything would reach properly. This may not be an issue with a standard ceiling installation, but it’s something to be aware of if you have a cathedral or vaulted ceiling.Getting the fan up and installed was definitely a little bit of a pain in the butt, but once we got it up, we were very happy with it. The quality feels solid, the airflow is great, and it looks beautiful installed.The price is a little on the pricey side, but the quality is definitely there, and in my opinion, it’s worth the investment. Overall, we really love this fan and would recommend it!

Wingbo is a well-regarded ceiling fan manufacturer — sold not just on Amazon but in your local big box stores too — with a solid reputation and genuinely good fans. If you're hoping for an American-made fan, though, this won't be it. That said, no major manufacturer builds fans domestically anymore; Casablanca, Hunter, and the other big names all manufacture in China or Taiwan, with some doing a portion of production in Mexico. Wingbo's fans aren't ultra-cheap, no-name Chinese imports. They're not expensive either, but they sit squarely in the mid-priced range for ceiling fans. Having installed two Wingbo fans and a Hunter fan in a home I own in the last month, I would judge the Hunter more solidly built, but the Wingbo more compact and engineered for efficiency. At first I far preferred the bulk and heft of the Hunter, but Wingbo’s ingenious construction makes it lightweight and reduces shipping costs. The real test is longevity. Wingbo motors seem much less heavy than the Hunter fan.This particular fan is a good example of Wingbo's range and the thought that goes into their designs. It's simple, but the blades are real wood and the look is elegantly compact. You’ll need to mount it to a solid horizontal support large enough to cover the fan's 7¼" base. It's a five-blade design that produces a more general than focused airflow, and it's meant for rooms with taller ceilings due to its blades being 18” below the ceiling mount.One wish: I'd love to see Wingbo — and other manufacturers, for that matter — build in smart controls. It's a shame to be stuck relying on a remote with no phone-control option, especially given how easily remotes get lost.
