I bought these locks for my special needs child to use on school locker. It was very simple to add our own security code. The only downside is that the numbers and the hash marks to line up the numbers are hard to see but I just used fingernail polish to highlight the hash marks and it was a lot better.

These four digit combination locks are extremely easy to use. There's no special tool required to change the combination. To change the combination you simple turn the shackle 180 degrees and push down, at this point you set your desired combination then bring it back up and it's set. The lock is designated for both indoor and outdoor use which I appreciate. This locks have aluminum bodies which will hold up well outdoors and won't rust. I like that this lock has a four digit combination instead of other locks which only have three digits for more security. I decided to use it outdoors and it's working perfectly for this purpose. This lock doesn't require any special tool or key to change the combination so anyone who has access to the code could easily change the combination just something to be aware of. Overall I really like the simplicity and build quality of this lock for the price and find it to be an excellent value.
