really good feel to the lightweight texturereally good feel to the lightweight texture

[Color: Black - Outdoor, Size: 6" x 30" x 10P, Color: Black - Outdoor, Size: 6" x 30" x 10P]
These are very lightweight with a grippy squishable rubber that has high profile texture to it. It feels much nicer with as much grip as the much harsher sandpaper style tape. The fact that the texture is so raised makes it seem like it will handle being wet much better and the compliance should allow more surface contact for traction. The sheets come with a pull tab to remove the liner. I'm waiting for a stretch of dry whether to see how well these adhere to stained wood decking stairs.

I’m very happy with these non-slip stair treads so far. I installed them on a wooden ramp as well as on some ceramic tile, and they have worked very well on both surfaces. The adhesive seems to be very strong, and the rubber provides a lot of grip, which gives me confidence when walking on the surfaces.I haven’t had them installed long enough to say how well they’ll hold up over time or how quickly they’ll wear out, but my first impression is very positive. They feel durable, and I have a good feeling that they’re going to last. Overall, they provide excellent traction and seem to be a great option for adding extra safety to outdoor steps and ramps.

Fantastic Alternative Use! Perfect Traction and Sound Deadening for an Aluminum Canoe

[Color: Black - Outdoor, Size: 6" x 30" x 10P]
While these are designed as outdoor stair treads, I actually ordered them for a slightly unorthodox project: adding grip and sound deadening to the floor of my aluminum canoe.Application & Stick:I used six pads from the pack to line the floor areas where my feet rest and where I store my gear. Before sticking them down, I thoroughly cleaned the raw aluminum surface to make sure there was no debris or residue. The self-adhesive backing gripped the metal immediately and bonded incredibly well. They have been stuck down in the canoe for a little over a month now through regular use and water exposure, and they haven't budged or peeled at all.Performance:They work fantastically for this application. Aluminum canoes are usually slick and loud, but these rubber treads completely solve both issues. My feet stay planted, my tackle box doesn't slide around anymore when I'm out on the water, and they significantly dampen the noise inside the boat. The texture is excellent, durable, and provides peace of mind. Even though I didn't use them on wooden steps, I can tell from the quality of the rubber and the strength of the adhesive that they would perform wonderfully on stairs. Highly recommended for stairs, boats, or any DIY traction project!

I'm using these to improve our walkway's safetyI'm using these to improve our walkway's safety

[Color: Black - Outdoor, Size: 6" x 30" x 10P, Color: Black - Outdoor, Size: 6" x 30" x 10P]
These rubber-particle treads are wonderful! They meet a need I have for making a treacherous walkway more safe. The background: We have a 40-foot-long walkway from our driveway to our front steps, which includes a slight incline. The walkway is made up of slate pavers, which get dangerously slippery when wet. It's always been a mystery to me why the previous owners chose slate. What were they thinking?!?Anyway, after a rain, we find ourselves walking on the muddy strip next to the walkway rather than chancing a fall on the treacherous pavers, which kind of defeats the purpose of a walkway. I should note here that one time, my wife did slip on a wet paver and broke her leg.My first solution to our problem was to buy some special paint with grit or sand mixed into it, which was expensive for enough to coat all of the pavers. This worked great for about a year, then the texture started wearing away, eventually leaving the pavers as slick as ever.My next solution was to start putting down traction tape. This is the stuff that looks and feels like sandpaper. I think it's better than nothing and does help--in fact, we use it on our wooden steps. However, these rubberized treads are about ten times better! They are much more substantial than the traction tape and you can really feel the grip beneath your shoes. Our pavers happen to be very irregular in size and shape, which necessitates me trimming the treads to fit. A pair of scissors does the job handily. Also, each tread comes with a backing that must be removed to expose the adhesive; this is pretty easy to do (easier than removing the backing from the aforementioned traction tape, I must say).Wherever you decide to use these treads, my advice is to always get a good visual sense of how you want to position them before removing the backing. Then with the backing removed, press them down firmly. I'm not sure they are easily movable once they're in place, which is probably a good thing. The 10-pack I received for review will probably not be enough to complete my walkway safety upgrade, so I will almost surely be buying some additional ones. I think it will be worth it. It remains to be seen how durable these will be over the long run, but I'm optimistic that I have finally found a real solution to a problem we've lived with for too long.

Easy to apply, adhere solidly, and feel comfortable to walk onEasy to apply, adhere solidly, and ...

[Color: Black - Outdoor, Size: 6" x 30" x 10P, Color: Black - Outdoor, Size: 6" x 30" x 10P]
This box of Self-Adhesive Non-Slip Rubber Stair Treads comes all rolled up, but they flatten out easily and adhere solidly when applied. The small red tab on the back makes it easy to peel the backing paper away, and they can be used singly or doubled up to provide a wider surface area. The epoxy coating on my garage floor and stairs is slippery when wet, so I used a single strip on each step to make them safer when I come in after a rain or snow. The raised rubber on the treads provides good traction to prevent me from slipping while also feeling comfortable enough to walk on barefoot or in socks, and the 6" x 30" size works well for those steps. My back patio stairs are wider though, so I doubled up and used two of the rubber stair treads on each of those steps. which gave me a 12" wide x 30" long protected step. It was easy to line two strips up together and the stairs were wide enough to I didn't need to cut the treads to fit them, but these could easily be cut to a smaller size if needed. This box of ten non-stick rubber stair treads offers a very good value for the money, are easy to apply, adhere well, look neat, and make my stairs much safer to walk on in all weather conditions!

So far, so good for senior pups

[Color: Black - Outdoor, Size: 6" x 30" x 10P]
I bought these stair treads to help my senior dogs get better traction going down the stained wood steps on our deck, and so far I’m really impressed. They were super easy to apply—just peel and stick—and the adhesive is VERY sticky. Once they’re down, they feel really secure and don’t seem like they’re going anywhere. The textured rubber surface gives my older dogs much better grip and makes me feel a lot better about them navigating the steps. They were exactly what I was looking for to make our deck a little safer for senior pups. I’m giving them 4 stars only because I’ll need to see how well they hold up long-term in the outdoor weather, but so far, they’re doing a great job!

They stick well and work great! They stick well and work great!

[Color: Black - Outdoor, Size: 6" x 30" x 10P, Color: Black - Outdoor, Size: 6" x 30" x 10P]
I put these Thunder Grip self adhesive non-slip rubber stair treads (made for outdoors) on a cement landing outside my garage and a small wooden porch area outside my shed. In strong wind, the regular rubber mats I had were shifting and sometimes blowing around, which was frustrating and unsafe. I ordered these to stick in place. The adhesive bottoms bonded very well to both the cement and the wood. They’re also thin enough that they don’t interfere with the doors, but they still feel durable and well made. The texture is very non-slip and can be used to remove dirt from our shoes even though it is still easy on the feet. I received a 10 pack with enough pieces to use one additional tread on the edge of a step leading off my front porch. That area gets a lot of sun glare, and it can be difficult to see the step edge. The dark black tread clearly marks the edge and looks very nice, making it much easier to navigate. These are easy to use, are excellent safety items for steps and other high traffic areas around the house, and they’re a good value for the price.

Easy to install

These no-slip stair treads give good traction. They are easy to install. I'll review later on their durability.
