These lights look great once installed and provide plenty of illumination without hanging down from the ceiling. I especially like the thin, low-profile design and the ability to select both the color temperature and brightness before installation. That gave me quite a bit of flexibility in deciding how I wanted each area to look without needing to install a separate dimmer. The light is even, bright, and so far I haven't experienced any flickering or other performance problems.Installation itself is fairly straightforward, but the mounting system is the one part I wasn't completely sold on. The fixture attaches to the mounting plate using three plastic tabs that have to line up with three corresponding tabs on the base. You push the light against the ceiling and twist it into the locked position. This is very easy to do when you're looking directly at it on a workbench, but considerably less intuitive when you're working overhead and can't see the tabs.Aside from that concern, I'm very pleased with the finished result. They have a clean, modern appearance, put out an impressive amount of light, and the adjustable settings make them much more versatile than a basic LED fixture. Once installed, they practically disappear into the ceiling while providing significantly better lighting.

I really liked the low profile nature of these lights. I installed these in the kitchen. The install process was not difficult. The light has a switch in the back that allows you to select the light output/ brightness type you want. I opted for daylight which is very bright. The color/ trim on the outside was a nice styling touch. They fit perfectly. Simply install the plate on the j-box and press and turn the light once wired. It is a quality light fixture so you won’t be disappointed.

So this was easy to install, and looks like a very clean install, which i love. i actually ran a new line to install one in my kids shower because it was very dark in there. I like that it has a toggle switch and i dont NEED to add a dimmer button to get the kind of lighting i want for the area. I used one for a closet and one for the shower, so i wanted a brighter light in the shower and a dimmer one in the closet. I love how thin it is, and how easy it was to install. I had no issues with setup or mounting, the brightness is just right. I used the medium brightness for one room and super bright for the other. I love that it has warm lighting, since i hate how LED looks. I had experienced no flickering or issues with it not working so far. My daughters love that there is more light in the bathroom as well. Overall, am very content with how it looks also. since i will be using it in a shower, i like that it does not stick out at all, and stays away from getting wet.

We are renovating an old farmhouse where some of the rooms only had 7-foot ceilings. Thus, we are trying to increase the height – visually -- through some of our renovation and décor choices. These super-thin LED lights help do that, as they barely drop down into the room, so you don’t feel like you have a light hanging right above your head.Because we are trying to incorporate a lot of woodwork, and many of our other lights have wood elements for a modern farmhouse style, we are actually going to add a thin piece of stained wood behind these to create a slight stair-step effect to match the other lights. But the whole light with the wood base still won’t drop into the room more than an inch!I also chose these particular lights since we can also customize the light color and brightness settings to help everything match. I can’t speak to how well these will last, but they seem like good quality, and I am very pleased so far, from a design perspective, as we work on combining an old structure with modern amenities.

We live in a beach-box house in a tourist town, and most of the rooms are fairly small. The windows are likewise on the smaller side as a nod to safety during hurricanes. This presents the problem of having less natural light than would be desirable, and conventional light fixtures, even with LED lights, often fall short. Plus, the larger size of conventional residential fixtures makes the ceilings look slower and the room smaller, which is an aesthetic problem.These ceiling-hugging, low-profile fixtures are ridiculously bright, and the ability to change the light temperature is wonderful - you can customize the type of light for your space. We prefer the brightest light we can manage in ANY space in our home, and these lights do not disappoint.These are supposed to work well with dimmers, though we haven't bothered to test them - full-blast suits us just fine.At this price, these are less expensive than buying a fixture and either conventional or LED bulbs, look better, can be dimmed, and you can customize the light temps - 100% worth the investment. We will be buying several more for the additional rooms of our house.

I wanted to give these 5 stars but the install problems left me disappointed. These lights look great and funtion well. As with many new lamps they have a color adjustment option, but as with most you must choose before the final install. I am not confident they are secure to the ceiling. I really twisted the wire nuts, so that if they fall, the wires will hold them up. There is no ground wire. They are held up with 3 PLASTIC tabs on the light fixture.. The tabs are to slide under 3 PLASTIC tabs on the base which is held to the ceiling fixture box by 2 screws. Without being able to see these tabs you must push the light fixture up into the base on the ceiling and twist the light fixture counter clockwise until the tabs lock into place. Easy on the work table, not as easy upside down on the ceiling. My house was built in 2008, so the junction box is plastic. One of the two screw mounting holes was broken. The other was carelessly filled with sheetrock mud. Both of the light fixtures that I replaced had plastic junction boxes loosely held up with only 1 screw. This made it hard to push up on the light to blindly find the right spot on the base fixture to twist and lock, because the mount was not stable. None of this is this manufacturers fault, but I am left not being sure these are secure. They do look great and provide plenty of light.

I didn't realize these lights were COMPLETELY flush on the back - that would have been perfect for a replacement I did just a month or two ago. At least now I know there is such a thing. But it makes installing these extremely flexible - sometimes removing an old fixture reveals a surprise, but this one would fit any of them that I've seen.TBH I was skeptical of the 3200LM rating. I got a 2 pack and assumed the product details were fudging the combined output. I've got similar style fixtures that use 23w and only advertise 1600LM. I'm still not sure these are double that, but they are unmistakably extremely bright. I don't have a dimmer with them, but might change that. The package included a list of compatible ones.The black border ring is not our preferred style, but in practice it's not a factor. Ours are in a small walk-in closet with no windows, so they are usually dark and out of sight or you've turned them on, and the light casing is almost invisible behind the strong light.The color selections are good and work well. I forgot to change one from the default and only noticed when I was done. Not a problem - the light detaches from the mounted base with a quarter twist, and then the color switch is easy to access on its back.
