These filters fit securely in the compatible wet/dry vacuum and install without requiring any tools. They do a good job catching dust and debris, and being washable and reusable makes them more economical than disposable filters. The two-pack is helpful because one can be used while the other is being cleaned and dried. A practical replacement that works as expected.

The Vitalumix 2 Pack VF4000 Replacement Filter for Wet/Dry Vac was purchased to replace a filter on a ~ 25 yo 12 gal Ridgid wet dry shop vacuum.1. Two filters received 8-1/2" long x 6-/4" outer diameter, 4-1/2" opening interior diameter on one end and bolt opening on other as ordered.2. Filter material appears to be a stiff/fine webbed plastic but is actually a type of paper infused with resin, thus washable and reusable. Creases not as deep as old regular paper filter but obviously more durable - may need to be cleaned more frequently ?3. One end open with pliable rubber seal to press against vacuum motor and other rubber sealed except for bolt opening for application of vacuum's ring and nut system.4. Simple to install - note instructions state the retention ring/nut that "may" be on an older vacuum do not need to be used as the rubber ring of new filter fits tightly around vacuum motor. Found to be true - snug fit, but decided to use both ring/nut to ensure filter remains in place. Can also just use nut and press against new filter rubber ring.5. Operated vacuum and great suction - as good as before or better - and definitely started filtering shop debris, down to fine dust - Nice !Form, Fit and Function of the vacuum filters are all Very Good - Quality leading to performance, durability and longevity. Value is also Good at the purchased price point of $29.99, or $15 each, and even better now at the discounted $24.99 price for two - competitive with other providers and beats big box by a mile who charge ~ $40 for two filters. Easy 5 star rating and recommended although durability and longevity have not been fully tested due to short use period.

I’m very happy with these replacement filters for my RIDGID wet/dry vac. The filters fit perfectly and were very easy to install without needing any tools. The quality feels solid and comparable to the original filter, and the fit is secure once installed.I especially like that these filters are washable and reusable, so they can be cleaned and used again instead of constantly buying new ones. The two-pack is also convenient because there is always a spare available when the other filter needs to be cleaned or replaced. I replaced my shop-vac current filter with this and it's been working great. It uses the same universal fit that nearly every common shop vac uses, so there wasn't any issue plugging this into my Rigid vac.I've used it to suck up finer sawdust, rogue leaves, dirt/dust and general use around my garage. The filter performed great and nothing made it past the filter. The air was clean.It's good enough for me, so I'd recommend this to you too.

Got this Air Filter to fit my small wet dry vac by rigid. It fit nicely and was snug enough to remain on without falling off when in use. The filter is a medium thickness that is slightly thinner than the original filter paper but the fiber pattern of the paper is much more concentrated compared to the older filter I had which should last longer. So far works fine on the vacuum without any issues.
