This is a cute little impact wrench. It doesn’t come with the battery, but it comes with three bits.. It’s a good way and it’s compact and easy to store. The quality seems good and the torque on it is pretty decent but may not be good for something like Stone.

This impact wrench has plenty of power for stubborn automotive work. It was used on lug nuts that had been sitting through several seasons and broke them loose without needing a breaker bar first. Rusted suspension bolts also came free with a few solid hits instead of spending several minutes hammering away. The three speed settings are useful because full power is excessive for smaller fasteners, while the highest setting gives the wrench the punch needed for heavy hardware.The DeWalt battery compatibility is a big advantage for anyone who already has those batteries around the shop. Battery fit was secure and there was no movement while using the wrench at full power. Functionally, it relies on a high-efficiency brushless motor that generates up to 1328 foot-pounds of breakaway torque, which allows you to transfer a massive amount of mechanical force straight to seized chassis hardware. It broke free lug nuts, CV axle spindle nuts, and a stubborn harmonic balancer bolt without needing to bind anything up to keep the parts from spinning. I was able to complete the work safely with the car up on jack stands, and heavy undercar rust was no problem at all, though I did make sure to pry out the factory spindle nut crimp beforehand.The control panel layout is entirely straightforward and easy to adjust using the integrated buttons. You can cycle through low, medium, and high torque levels in forward rotation, while the reverse function features a built-in auto-stop mode that can be turned on and off. A while back (years ago) I made a test rig from 3" thick A36 steel stock and drilled a 1 1/2" hole through it and tapped it to fit a 1-1/2"-12 bolt to test some of the larger impact wrenches I have.Using a Dewalt DCF961 (rated at 1200 ft-lbs fastening) inpact wrench to tighten the bolt, I tried to loosen the bolt with this impact wrench from AIDERAR (rated for 1328 ft-lbs breakaway) and the bolt wouldn't budge. It wouldn't tighten it any further either.Sooo ... "1328 ft-lbs of torque" isn't performing as claimed. I expected that though. Virtually every non major player in the power tool market over rates their tools. Even some of the big names in the industry underperform on some of their tools advertized specs.Not a big deal.That said, this impact wrench from AIDERAR is very well made and performs very well. Unless you are doing commercial work with VERY large nuts and bolts, you won't be disappointed. This Impact wrench has plenty of grunt and it is unlikely you will cross many fasteners this won't overpower.Every Dewalt battery I tried in it fit and worked perfectly. Zero complaints.Great deal for this tool and easy to recommend.

I've now used a few AIDERAR tools, and this impact wrench continues to reinforce my impression that they're building some genuinely capable equipment. The moment you pick this one up you realize it's in a completely different class from the typical battery powered impact driver most people keep in the garage. This one is a 1/2-inch square-drive impact wrench designed for real torque-heavy applications, and it pairs perfectly with my existing DeWalt 20V MAX battery collection. Since it's sold as a bare tool, I simply clicked in one of my DeWalt batteries and was ready to go in seconds.Where this tool really separates itself is in both its power and its control (but really its power). It's rated for up to 1,328 ft-lbs of breakaway torque, which is an entirely different world than the inch-pound ratings you'll typically see on standard impact drivers. This is an order of magnitude stronger! That's enough muscle for "stubborn" lug nuts, suspension hardware, concrete anchors, structural fasteners, and other heavy-duty jobs. Better yet, it doesn't immediately slam into full power the instant you touch the trigger. Between the variable-speed trigger and the three selectable forward torque settings (664, 885, and 1,033 ft-lbs), I was able to ease into lug nuts before applying full power, giving much better control and making it easier on both the hardware and my wrist.I tested it on my truck, and it removed the lug nuts effortlessly before reinstalling them just as easily. The brushless motor delivers plenty of power while keeping heat down, and the tool has a reassuring amount of weight. Reverse mode includes an automatic stop feature once the fastener breaks free, which helps prevent bolts from spinning off into oblivion, a feature I've come to appreciate as last week when taking off lug nuts on one of our cars at the shop, the air tool just spun the lug nut across the shop bay (thankfully not hitting anything or anyone). As with most battery power tools these days, there is a built-in LED light that is especially useful when working inside wheel wells or other dimly lit areas.Another thoughtful addition is the inclusion of three deep CR-MO impact sockets (3/4", 13/16", and 15/16"). These aren't lightweight accessory sockets, no. These are genuine impact-rated sockets that complement the wrench nicely and handled my truck's lug nuts without issue.Overall, this feels like a well-built, professional-grade tool that's intended for demanding work rather than occasional household repairs. If you already own DeWalt 20V MAX batteries and want a serious high-torque impact wrench without spending premium-brand money, I think this is an excellent value. Unfortunately I didn't have this when doing some concrete anchor screws for my deck ledger board. But I have another Stone project coming up where this will be of some value for a similar reason. I'm excited to use it for that

It performs noticeably better than my previous pneumatic unit because I no longer have to drag an air hose around the shop or wait for the compressor tank to refill. It feels exceptionally well built and the textured rubber grip provides great control even when wearing greasy mechanics gloves.
