These recessed D-ring tie-down anchors are an excellent addition to any cargo-hauling setup, offering a robust solution with their heavy-duty steel construction and 6,000 lb break strength rating. The flush-mount design keeps them low-profile when not in use while the included backing plates provide added support for secure installation on truck beds or trailers. Their corrosion-resistant black finish ensures durability even under harsh outdoor conditions, making these anchors a reliable choice for transporting heavy equipment with peace of mind.

These tie-down anchors are tough as heck and should last for years! The backing plates are heavy steel and I have no doubts these woold hold up to and past their rated strength. If you've got to slam on the brakes this is what you want securing your load. I can honestly say that, if mounted in 1/2" plywood, the wood would fail before this hardware would. I'm looking forward to installing these in my trailer - should be just the thing for transporting a motorcycle or other heavy gear.

I wanted to add some more tie downs to my trailer and these did the trick. Fairly easy to install, with or without instructions and the backing plates seem to reinforce the D rings which are plenty strong enough to do what I wanted which was to have a dedicated tie down system for my ride on mower.Much stronger than I needed, but that's fine....rather too much than not enough.

These are very sturdy. All of the metal is thicker than expected. I routed out pockets in my wood decking. They fit great and are a solid installation. The black coating is strong and thick. I won't even hesitate to strap down my zero turn.

I have been working on some repairs, restorations and upgrades of my old f250. And so I was quite excited to give these tie downs a try. I have a friend coming to help me install them. It says they have 6000 lb break strength.A fitting like this is only as strong as it's weakest structure. So i cannot speak to that number.I will just be happy to have them to secure hay bales and dump loads with. They feel solid and heavy. They look super nice with only a few scuffs. I cannot tell if they are just painted metal that will rust out or if they have some other kind of coating.Price is comparable to other similar tie down sets. I dont have anything else to compare them to directly.Overall, and so far, I am happy with this tie down set. I think it will do what I need them to do.
