Works great!

Great tool for running wire through walls and through trim on vehicles. Used it to run a rear view cable through my son’s Jeep. Would definitely recommend.

Good tape but overpricedGood tape but overpriced

[Color: CXQ-10M, Color: CXQ-10M]
I do a lot of electrical and am currently renovating and 1880 farm house. I have a heavy duty steel fish tape that is very rigid. I also have a fiberglass segmented pole that is also very rigid and good for straight runs. I needed a fish tape that is more flexible but yet can be pushed to an end hole. This fits that bill nicely and has strong ends on each end and comes with lasso's. Overall it is a good fish tape but in my opinion you can get equivalent tapes for half this price (at time of this review it is $30). I recommend the tape but feel it should cost less than it does.

One-piece fish tape that works

[Color: CXQ-10M]
I've used this for pulling wire through walls, and the stiffness is about right. It has enough rigidity to push through a run and around bends, while still flexing enough to follow the turns instead of getting stuck. The one-piece design is a big improvement over the sectional fiberglass set I had before. Those sections weren't flexible enough for some runs and would come apart while I was working. This is a simple tool, but the combination of rigidity and flexibility makes it much more useful for the jobs I've used it on.

Lightweight and portableLightweight and portable

-if you’re doing some house wiring or any kind of wiring, this fish tape is really handy. It’s thin and easy to pull. It comes with 2 pull attachments, but with the loop ends you can just attach your pull wire.I had a small run needed for a carport, this one was easier to use then my metal pull roll. It’s an extra pull fish tape that I can just throw in my bag, since it’s easier to carry. Also used it to fish out a camera wire, came in handy for sure.

Great tape, just know that it's pretty flimsy

[Color: CXQ-15M]
Sometimes you need stout and rigid fish tape, and other times it's okay to be a bit flimsy. I recently installed some ceiling lights and needed a robust tape to keep a straight line between the rafters. This tape, however, would not work well enough because it was too droopy. The length is perfect, but there are certain use cases that it simply isn't the right tool for. For what you get, the cost is right on par and it's easier to use than some tapes. Just keep in mind that it's not for every situation. The attachments are standard and work very well. I would buy it again to have both a soft and rigid tape laying around when I need the added flexibility.

Great inexpensive wire-toolGreat inexpensive wire-tool

[Color: CXQ-10M, Color: CXQ-10M]
For the price, this is a very useful fish tape for DIY electrical and automotive wiring. The 33-foot length is plenty for most projects, and the 3mm line has a good balance of flexibility and stiffness, especially when pulling through conduit. The biggest downside is that it keeps some of its coiled shape, so fishing through an open wall cavity can be more frustrating. Overall, it’s inexpensive, simple, and does the job well. 4 out of 5 stars.

Good value for a sturdy and flexible electrical wire fish tape

[Color: CXQ-10M]
I ordered this electrical fish tape for a few wiring projects around the house, on my trailers, and in my boats, and it has been a great tool to work with. The 10‑meter length is more than enough for most wall and conduit runs, and the 3.0 millimeter wire puller feels sturdy and is easy to guide.I already have many different styles of electrical fish tapes from the old style flat spring steel to modern fiberglass. This fish tape is much thinner and it has the right mix of strength and flexibility, so it pushes cleanly through longer paths without kinking or holding a bend. The two guide springs make a noticeable difference when navigating tight turns or crowded conduits. They help the tape move smoothly without catching on edges, which saves time and keeps the wire feeding process predictable. I used it in a few spots with sharp angles, and it handled them well. The retractable housing is another plus. The tape pays out evenly and rewinds quickly, and the compact size makes it easy to store without creating a tangled mess in a toolbox. It is lightweight enough to carry around during a job but still feels durable. This tool is useful for more than just electrical work. I used it to run low‑voltage wiring and network cables, and it performed just as well. It is well suited for walls, conduits, crawl spaces, and other tight areas where you need a reliable wire guide. The kit includes the fish tape and two guide springs, which is everything needed to get started. The build quality matches what is described on the product page, and it feels like it will hold up over many projects.Overall, I am very pleased with this wire puller. It is a good value and works reliably, stores neatly, and makes cable routing much easier.
