Upgraded Outdoor Plug

I am thrilled with this light. It has so many options and adjustments that it can be adapted to fit perfectly in our space. For instance, we can change the color temperature, the actual color, and the brightness. It also has a timer, a nightlight, and the ability to continually rotate through the colors. (The actual colors are brighter than in my video.) The speaker is also rather good, and I like the idea that the sound will be pointed down to lessen the chance that we bother the neighbors. The remote is fairly straight forward, and it even controls the volume of the speaker and can skip songs. My husband is pleased with the installation options as we are going to use this light under a small porch roof, but it would also amazing for camping. Who knew a light could be fun?

This is a pretty cool light I will say. The variety of light from soft white to bright white with smooth continuous transition is nice. The brightness is very good, hard to look at when on the brightest setting in the daylight or bright white! The different colors are also a nice option if needed/wanted. I prefer the changing colors if I'm going to do colored lights personally. The bluetooth speaker is ok, definitely not very loud at all. Something that might be ok if you are sitting around talking and just want some background music or if you are working at your workbench and just want something playing in the "background". Either way you pretty much need to be directly under it or within a few feet to hear it much. Can't speak to it's weatherproof ability as mine is in my shop. The light sync (with colored lights) with music is pretty cool feature to give things a little extra.A couple cons: The ability to hang as a pendant light, which seems like it would be the most common use-they did NOT provide the screws to screw the base to the light! They provide screws to mount the light directly to the ceiling but they are too long to use on the pendant mount. So hopefully you've been saving all the extra screws you get from other assemblies that send extras and you can find some that fit! It only take 3 screws and they are smallish so not sure why they didn't include them. Pretty big con. 2nd, no batteries included with the remote. Takes 2 AA's and typically any time I've got a remote with something, whether it takes AA's, AAA's or watch batteries, they are included. On that note, the remote is rather large for what it is and what it's for. Bigger than a roku remote. Not a big deal, just an observation.Given the price and the above mentioned cons I'd really give this a 3.5 but since that's not an option I'll go with 4 stars instead of 3 just because otherwise it is a nice light.

This isn't some pretty light fixture that adds "farmhouse" style to your space. It's very industrial and plastic. The LED light is clearly an LED light. So I would scrach "farmhouse." But what this *is* though... is oddly nifty I guess. The bluetooth speaker is fairly easy to set up, though I had to search a few times for the pairing name. Code is 1111 for first time pairing. It was a bit confusing at first to see both hardwired and plug in pendant hardware in the box, but that was pretty easy to figure out.The bluetooth speaker is not bad. Especially when it's above your head. The light brightnesses are very bright, which I prefer because you can always make it dimmer, not brighter. The colors are rich and saturated.BUT, I really wish there was more customizable color control with this thing. The "breathing mode" is kind of cool, but I just don't like that standard RGB look. RGB LEDs allow for pretty much infinite color control, so only being able to switch through standard colors is kinda sad. The "music rhythm" mode is kind of bad looking lol. It doesn't flash to a single color—it switches color for every beat, which ends up looking very chaotic and slightly seizure-y.I'm going to give this 5 stars because honestly this thing promises a lot more than its $40 price tag. Usually you can't even get a plug in pendant light for $40 these days. So it promises a lot. Delivers maybe 85% of that, but at $40 that's already great for me.
