Ignore my messy workbench in the pictures!! i am an electronics and ham radio hobbiest, and often need to work on small circuit boards, and my aging eyes often have problems seeing! Having this lamp available on this nice "gooseneck" mount will let me put light anywhere I need it! The base is magnetic, so I'm going to have to figure out where to put it, since my workbench is now wooden, but I have other magnetic things and have regularly used sheet metal pieces glued or screwed to my workbench for similar things.. Anyway, if you have a need for a magnetic lamp, this one is nice. It is powered by AC, not USB, and is plenty bright. There's a power switch on the power cable.

Good magnetic hold, even if vertical.Nice flex on hose. Bulb is bright, but do not take the end off like I did. It does not go back on so easily, but I wanted to see the light inside. I did take a picture of anyone else is curious. My son was able to get it back together, and it still works.No manual included, no websites or phone numbers, or product information comes with it. Just plug it in, and switch it on. When done, switch it off. That's it.The cord is not very long and may not stretch across a workbench, but the outlet on ours is in the middle so I am not too concerned about that.This suits out needs and will be a handy item. Glad we have it.

Super bright LED with magnet base is very useful in the garage and workshop. I wanted one that was not battery powered so I don't have to recharge. Just leave it plugged in, but portable enough to reposition as needed. This one puts out lots of light and has a flexible stalk. It works great and looks awesome. Very happy with it.

The 600 lumen 7W lamp is bright enough for closeup lighting of my shop tools. The problem comes when the strong magnetic base never-the-less slips. It is especially prone to swiveling. Of course, it won’t stick to aluminum or plastic objects like my ShopSmith band-saw so I tried to stick it to my nearby furnace. In my video, the base clamps strongly to the vertical steel furnace, but the base itself (not the gooseneck) swivels downward when I try to extend the light horizontally toward my band-saw. This is the case even though there is no vibration.The result is better on my Delta scroll-saw where it clamps strongly and won’t fall even when the saw is turned on (full speed) causing quite a bit of vibration. Note that in this case, it is clamping to a horizontal object and potential swiveling is not an issue. After finishing the video, I discovered that the light was vibrating a bit because the light head started to unscrew itself. Perhaps I could add a bit of glue to prevent that from happening.
