I love that this light is very long and great for lighting up a desk while working on detailed hobbies. The lighted area is about 23"L x 3/4"w, which shines downward. Because of the way the casing wraps around, and the frosted light shield, it helps to prevent light from shining directly into my eyes, but illuminates my 47"L x 23"d work table. It's perfect for me when working on detail projects such as book nooks, hand stitching and, crochet. It has a 15" flexible arm that can be used completely horizontal across my desk, a 7-1/2" wide metal base with a foam non-skid bottom, that helps prevent tipping over. The whole arm and light will swing back and forth as needed, with a screw knob to help prevent accidental movement if bumped, although it can be moved by pushing, even when tightened up. Just above the lamp base is a clearly marked, sensitive touch lamp control pad, for three different light temperatures (warm, blue, natural), with continuous stepless brightness and dimming, on and off button, that remembers your last setting before turning off. It will illuminate my entire desk from extremely bright to very dim. I am concerned that the lamp, all around the area where the actual lights are, gets pretty hot when on the brightest settings but, remains cool on the dimmest settings. I would not leave this light unattended while on the brightest settings. The light looks nicely finished in white, with sturdy painted metal and plastic parts.

I really like this, it's a massive lamp that hovers overs almost the entire desk. It's bright, comes assembled and you can adjust color choice, brightness and turn on and off with a finger. Control buttons are easily accessible and large so easy to see. The goose neck is very flexible and stays in position. The base is sturdy and heavy enough to provide balance to this large lamp. There are a lot of similar lamps and there's a range of price/value, this one falls somewhere in the middle. Too bad it doesn't come in black.

This is a really handy desk lamp, especially for detailed work. The extra-long flexible gooseneck makes it easy to position the light exactly where I need it, and I love being able to adjust the angle without having to move the entire base. The different brightness levels and three light modes are great because I can customize the lighting depending on what I'm working on. The touch controls are also convenient and easy to use. I haven't noticed any annoying flickering, which makes it much more comfortable to use for longer periods. The lamp has a nice, clean look and doesn't take up a lot of desk space. It's versatile enough for a nail table, crafting, reading, or a home office.

Wow, this is a substantial desk light!I got the version with the base for my office desk, and I really like how much area the extra-long light covers. It provides plenty of bright illumination across my workspace.The adjustable gooseneck is a great feature because I can position the light exactly where I need it. I also really like having three light modes and five brightness levels. It can be very bright when I’m working on something detailed, but I can easily dim it when I don’t need as much light.The touch controls are convenient, and the base keeps it securely positioned on my desk. Although it’s marketed as a nail table lamp, it makes an excellent office desk light as well. I’m impressed!

I really like this desk light. It was easy to set up, and the relatively long power cord made it easy to find a good place for it. The light is very bright and covers a very large area, which will help me read small print better. The light can be dimmed if it is too bright, and there are 3 color temperatures. The touch sensitive buttons are easy and logical to use, and the previous settings are remembered the next time the light is turned on again. The gooseneck is flexible but stays where I leave it, and it doesn't wobble. I like how the light can swivel freely in the heavy base, but it can also tip over if I rotate it too far. Build quality is excellent with no flickering or questionable construction. Highly recommended!
